Structure and composition of insoluble chitin/glucan complexes isolated from the mushroom Pleurotus spstructure, solid state NMR and Aspergillus niger mycelium were characterized by a combination of solid-state 13C NMR spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy and thermal methods. Kombinací 13C NMR spektroskopie pevného stavu, IČ spektroskopie a termických metod byla charakterizována struktura a složení nerozpustných chitin/glukanových komplexů izolovaných z houby Pleurotus sp. a mycelia Aspergillus niger.

Possibilities of vibrational and NMR spectroscopy in structural characterization of polysaccharides were illustrated on examples of several polysaccharide systems (pectins, chitin, chitosan, chitosan lactate, carrageens, chondroitinsulphate). Možnosti vibrační a NMR spektroskopie při strukturní charakterizaci polysacharidů byly ilustrovány na příkladech několika polysacharidových systémů (pektiny, chitin, chitosan, chitosanlaktát, karagenany, chondroitinsulfát).

Je uveden přehled materiálů a principů pro optické a elektrické uchovávání dat založených na fázové změně. Je diskutováno složení, struktura, vlastnosti a způsoby přípravy tenkých vrstev užívaných materiálů. Problémy rychlé krystalizace a amortizace a též problémy stability amorfních stavů a uchování při zvýšené teplotě je uvedeno. A review of materials and principles used in optical and electrical data storage based on phase changes is given, the composition structure, properties and the ways of preparation of thin films of the materials already used, or potentially applicable, are discussed. The problems of fast crystallization and amorphization as well as problems of stability of amorphous state and of the storage at elevated temperatures are mentioned.
