Techniques of empirical and statistical interpolation used for correction of models of pollution propagation

2006 - Czech Methods for correction of the mathematical model results using odservations from terrain. Utilisation of classical empirical interolation techniques and statistical approach of optimal interpolation method are investigated. Advantage of statistical method is demonstrated on example of atmospheric radionuclide release with rain occurrence. Metody korekce výsledků matematického modelu na základě pozorování v terénu. Popsáno užití klasických empirických interpolačních technik a statistický přístup metody optimální interpolace. Thermogram processing of temporomandibular joins by means of digital image processing

2005 - Czech The article describes the proposed system for processing patients' pictures with the inflamation of the tempomandibular joins. The pictures are taken by thermocamera and they are used for the detection and evaluation of the cure. The proposed system enables processing of the acquired data, the analysis of the right and left face images and their mutual comparison. Publikace se zabývá navrženým systémem pro zpracování snímků pacientů se zánětem temporomandibulárního kloubu. Snímky jsou pořizovány termokamerou a slouží k detekci a vyhodnocování léčby. Systém umožňuje manipulaci s daty, analýzu snímků pravé a levé tváře a jejich porovnání navzájem. 2005 - Czech Global aim of the Centre is to contribute substantially to development of a theoretical, algortihmic and software background for solution of real life problems, above all decision-making in complex situation based on different sources of knowledge and data. Determine the main theoretical areas of the research: 1) Knowledge acquisition and representation, 2) Decision-making, 3) Multidimensional signal processing and pattern recognition, 4) Sof somputing and fuzzy modelling. Obecným cílem Centra je podstatným způsobem přispět k rozvoji teoretické, algoritmické a programové základny pro řešení řady problémů spjatých s rozhodováním ve složitých reálných situacích, zejména při rozhodování založeném na různých zdrojích a dat. Hlavní teoretické směry, ve kterých bude výzkum probíhat: 1) získávání a reprezentace znalostí, 2) rozhodování, 3) zpracování více-rozměných signálů a rozpoznávání obrazů, 4) soft computing a fuzzy modelování.
