Using the Novel by Kateřina Tučková "Vyhnání Gerty Schnirch" in Teaching at Secondary School

2019 - Czech The first part of the thesis presents the personality and work of the author Kateřina Tučková, describes the historical context of the work. In the other parts, methods of working with the text of the novel are presented. The concrete selection texts include ideas about their application in literature lessons at secondary school, including the draft worksheet for the oral part of the school-leaving examination in Czech language and literature. In the conclusion there are mentioned possibilities of extracurricular activities connected with the given work. První část závěrečné práce představuje osobnost a dílo autorky Kateřiny Tučkové, popisuje historický kontext díla Vyhnání Gerty Schnirch a jeho kompoziční výstavbu a děj. V druhé části jsou zmíněny možné metody práce s textem románu. Na konkrétních výňatcích textu je představeno jejich didaktické využití v hodinách literatury na střední škole, včetně návrhu pracovního listu k ústní části maturitní zkoušky z českého jazyka a literatury. V závěru jsou zmíněny možnosti mimoškolních aktivit spjatých s daným dílem. The thesis deals with the issue of integration of one concrete child / boy who changed the school. Several disorders have been diagnosed; he grows up only with his mother and he moved to the city from the different one. Before the start in our school, he was hospitalized in the mental institution, thereafter, he had to be taught by special educator assistant. This thesis is divided into two parts. The first one describes the way the educator assistant works his purview, how he deals with the concrete child he has been assigned to, what his presence and his role means for the class he works in etc. This part is based on the available literature resources. The first part defines the issue of adaption and integration presented in specialized literature, in the second part we focuse on described problems based on one concrete individual. The third part mentions the issue of this person related to his diagnosis. The individual is student of 4th and 7th grade of primary school. His development is described on the grounds of available documentation. Práce se zabývá problematikou adaptace a současně integrace. Je rozdělena do tří částí. V první části je pojmenovaná problematika spojená s adaptací a integrací uváděná v odborné literatuře, ve druhé části jsou problémy specifikované u konkrétního chlapce. 2019 - English This final project deals with English grammar on the Internet. The thesis is focused on learning and teaching grammar, especially on tenses - past simple and present perfect, with the aid of the Internet as the main source of information, worksheets, exercises and games. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the essential role of grammar in the learning process. It explains the difference between the written and spoken grammar, as well as between deductive and inductive approach. Basic principles for effective lesson planning are included. The thesis also provides factors which should be followed by a teacher when explaining new grammar. Finally, specific difficulties presented by teaching tenses and the potential of the Internet in teaching English grammar are described. The practical part of the thesis brings examples of three lesson plans. In the end, a short questionnaire, which was used as a feedback from pupils, is included. Tato závěrečná práce se zabývá anglickou gramatikou na Internetu. Konkrétním zaměřením práce je výuka minulého a předpřítomného času a jejím cílem je poskytnout různé způsoby výuky tohoto gramatického jevu s využitím Internetu jako hlavního zdroje informací, pracovních listů, cvičení a her. Závěrečná práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. Teoretická část popisuje nezbytnou roli gramatiky v procesu učení, rozlišuje induktivní a deduktivní přístup ve výuce, vysvětluje rozdíl mezi gramatikou psanou a mluvenou a zabývá se její výukou na základních školách. Dále jsou zde uvedeny rady pro efektivní plánování hodiny a faktory, které je vhodné dodržovat při vysvětlování gramatiky. Práce také uvádí obtíže, které mohou nastat při výuce a procvičování minulého a předpřítomného času. Poslední kapitola této části uvádí možnosti využití Internetu v hodinách anglického jazyka. Praktická část obsahuje příklady tří plánů hodin, které jsou zaměřeny na minulý a předpřítomný čas. Zahrnut je také krátký dotazník, který byl využit pro získání zpětné vazby od žáků. In the practical part the focus is on the analysis of its usage at the elementary schools of the district of Uherske Hradiste and the thesis ascertains potential interest of pupils and teachers of elementary school of Hluk. Outcome of the thesis is a proposal of the e-learning system with best fit for to elementary school with regard to the research done and school needs.
