In dieser Arbeit soll es um Chancen und Herausforderungen einer deutsch-französischen grenzüberschreitenden Kooperation im Kulturbereich gehen. Daher soll in dieser Arbeit das deutsch-französische Festival der Bühnenkunst PERSPECTIVES näher beleuchtet werden, das ein wichtiges Kulturereignis in der Großregion darstellt. Diesbezüglich soll herausgearbeitet werden, wie gut oder schlecht die Kooperation funktioniert, welche Aspekte bereits eine gute Funktionsweise und insbesondere ein gutes Zusammenwirken der beteiligten Gruppen entwickelt haben und wo noch Handlungsbedarf bezüglich weiterer Potenziale besteht. Außerdem sollen die Herausforderungen, mit denen sich die grenzüberschreitende Zusammenarbeit konfrontiert sieht, herausgearbeitet werden. This Master's thesis focuses on challenges and opportunities of a Franco-German cross-border cooperation in the cultural sector. Therefore, this thesis proposes to take a closer look at the Franco-German festival of performing arts PERSPECTIVES, which is organised within the Greater Region and has existed for a comparatively long time. With the help of semi-structured interviews, the thesis aims to answer the following questions: How successfully does the cross-border cooperation work? Which aspects have already developed a successful mode of operation? Where is still need for action? Which challenges are cross-border cooperations in the cultural sector facing?

This work aims to explicate the difference between Bergson and Kant's concept of obligation in light of Bergson's critique of Kant in his book Les Deux Sources de la Morale et Religion (The Two Sources of Morality and Religion). From what perspective does this critique and reading of Kant originate? I argue that it lies in their different approaches to morality. On one hand, Bergson views moral obligation as a sociological and anthropological fact. He applies an existential approach in his moral theory because the anthropological fact he engages with, namely the phenomenon of barbarism during the First World War, provides the framework for his typology of closed and open morality, and his critique of deontology. On the other hand, Kant considers morality as a theoretical problem; morality is a conceptual engagement-an investigation of the concepts that morality presupposes. Their divergent approaches underpin (1) the difference in their conception of freedom in relation to morality and (2) their conception of mysticism as a possible ground for morality. Keywords: obligation, reason, pressure, aspiration, morality, freedom, autonomy, moral creativity, mysticism Diese Arbeit untersucht den Unterschied zwischen Bergsons und Kants Begriff der Verpflichtung angesichts von Bergsons Kritik an Kant in seinem Buch Les Deux Sources de la Morale et Religion (Die zwei Quellen der Moral und Religion). Aus welcher Perspektive stammt diese Kritik und Lektüre von Kant? Mein These ist, dass sie in ihren unterschiedlichen Ansätzen zur Moral liegt. Einerseits betrachtet Bergson die moralische Verpflichtung als eine soziologische und anthropologische Tatsache. Er wendet in seiner Moraltheorie einen existenziellen Ansatz an, weil das anthropologische Faktum, mit dem er sich beschäftigt, das man provisorisch als das Phänomen der Barbarei des ersten Weltkieges umschreiben kann, den Rahmen für seine Typologie der geschlossenen und offenen Moral, und seine Kritik der Deontologie bildet. Andererseits betrachtet Kant die Moral als ein theoretisches Problem, das aus einem Begriff abgeleitet wird. Ihre unterschiedliche Ansätze untermauert (1) den Unterschied in ihrer Auffassung von Freiheit in Bezug auf Moral und (2) ihre Auffassung von Mystik als möglicher Grundlage von Moral. According to the topic, it is only possible to offer a conclusion of the main concern. Considering to the irrevocable world-relationality of the human, the main concern consists in describing the siginificance and necessity of speaking with each other concerning the concrete constitution of reality, with an eye on the limits that go along with it. Finally, the development of a Poetical Attitude is given as a suggestion to solve with the question of human intersubjective existence based on the motives of justice and love, and which is closely interwoven with the dialogical dimension and the intersubjective narrative entanglement of people with one another. Dieses besteht darin, in Anbetracht der unaufhebbaren Weltbezüglichkeit des Menschen die Bedeutsamkeit und Notwendigkeit des Miteinandersprechens hinsichtlich der konkreten Wirklichkeitsstiftung zu beschreiben, die damit einhergehenden Grenzen zu erkunden, und schließlich mit der Entwicklung einer Poetischen Haltung einen Vorschlag auf die Frage eines von den Motiven der Gerechtigkeit und der Liebe getragenen Miteinanderseins anzubieten, die eng mit der sprachlichen Dimension und der intersubjektiven narrativen Verstrickung der Menschen miteinander verwoben ist. The Critical in Husserl's Phenomenology: the Levels of Constitution as a Question of Method Considering the contemporary discussion between critical, applied and engaged phenomenology, there seems to be a claim for a critical stand when it comes to considering concrete experience and, moreover, those experiences that have been neglected throughout history. Thus, the present work has the aim to show that this movement is characterized by the need of a critical potential which is already present in Edmund Husserl's work. Moreover, this potential is considered here as a question related to the method, through which we gain access to the underlying structures of experience. Thus, the five levels described are the following: intersubjective community, interpersonal intersubjectivity, active constitution, passive synthesis and hyletic flow. According to this, the focus is set on showing the way in which they are always connected to one another allowing thus to describe the complexity through which experience is articulated. Das Kritische in Husserls Phänomenologie: Die Konstitutionsstufen als eine Frage der Methode Betrachtet man die zeitgenössische Diskussion zwischen kritischer, angewandter und engagierter Phänomenologie, so scheint es einen Anspruch auf eine kritische Stellung zu geben, wenn es darum geht, konkrete Erfahrungen und insbesondere jene Erfahrungen zu berücksichtigen, die im Laufe der Geschichte vernachlässigt wurden. Die vorliegende Arbeit hat daher das Ziel aufzuzeigen, dass diese Bewegung durch das Bedürfnis nach einem kritischen Potential gekennzeichnet ist, das bereits in Edmund Husserls Werk vorhanden ist. Darüber hinaus wird dieses Potential hier als Frage nach der Methode betrachtet, durch die wir Zugang zu den zugrunde liegenden Erfahrungsstrukturen erhalten. Die fünf beschriebenen Ebenen sind also die folgenden: intersubjektive Gemeinschaft, interpersonale Intersubjektivität, aktive Konstitution, passive Synthesis und hyletischer Fluss. Demnach liegt der Fokus darauf, die Art und Weise aufzuzeigen, in der sie immer miteinander verbunden sind, um so die Komplexität beschreiben zu können, durch die Erfahrung artikuliert wird. Julian Lünser Master's Thesis Master Erasmus Mundus: Europhilosophie Charles University, Prague 5th May 2023 Abstract Horizon and Alterity in Husserl The problem of alterity was not thematised frontally by Husserl, in contrast to the work of later phenomenologists. Notwithstanding, following the thesis that is defended here, it is possible to conceive of an implicit conception of alterity in Husserl's writings. Such a conception shows itself in a more precise analysis of Husserl's concept of the horizon which stands in an ambivalent relation to alterity: On the one hand, the horizon structure refers to a non-given excess, and thus opens up alterity; on the other hand, this excess is always already, at least minimally, prescribed and hence withdraws the otherness from the alterity. This ambivalent relation is described in the course of this master's thesis on different levels. This allows to distinguish between the alterity of the immediately appearing, exemplified by things and the own self, and the alterity of the mediately appearing, such as the other person. While it is possible to directly explicate and hence test the horizons of the immediatly appearing, such a possibility is not given for the apperception of the mediately appearing. Nichtsdestotrotz, so lautet die These dieser Master-Arbeit, ist es möglich, eine implizite Konzeption der Alterität bei Husserl auszumachen. Diese Konzeption zeigt sich in einer genaueren Analyse des Husserlschen Horizontbegriffs, der in einer ambivalenten Beziehung zur Alterität steht: Einerseits verweist die Horizontstruktur auf einen nicht gegebenen Überschuss, und eröffnet so die Alterität; andererseits wird dieser Überschuss immer schon, zumindest minimal, vorgezeichnet und entzieht der Alterität somit seine Andersartigkeit. The present work deals with the philosophical roots and a philosophical embedding of logotherapy and existential analysis, a meaning-centered therapy, which was founded in the 20th century by Viktor Frankl. In the first chapter, the terms logotherapy, existential analysis and phenomenological analysis that are central to the form of therapy will be defined and the areas of application and tasks of this therapy presented. The second chapter presents the topic of existence. For this purpose, the understanding of existence in existential analysis will first be dealt with and central concepts such as transcendence, freedom, responsibility and the questions of life in relation to them explained. In a second part of the chapter, the philosophical justification will be based on the philosophy of Martin Heidegger; here the same terms will now be related to his understanding of ek-sistence and Dasein. The third chapter is devoted to the logotherapeutic dimensionalontology. In a first section, this ontology will be brought closer to its therapeutic context and in a second part, the philosophical reference will be made on the basis of Max Scheler's philosophy: here, in particular, terms such as person, Geist, the dimensional differences in humans and the ability to Gegenstandsfähigkeit will be focussed upon.... Zusammenfassung Die vorliegende Arbeit befasst sich mit den philosophischen Wurzeln sowie einer philosophischen Einbettung der Logotherapie und Existenzanalyse, eine sinnzentrierte Therapie, welche im 20. Jahrhundert von Viktor Frankl begründet wurde. In einem ersten Kapitel werden die für die Therapieform zentrale Begriffe Logotherapie, Existenzanalyse sowie phänomenologische Analyse definiert sowie die Anwendungs- und Aufgabenbereiche dieser Therapie vorgestellt. In einem zweiten Kapitel wird das Thema der Existenz erläutert. Hierfür wird zuerst auf das Existenzverständnis in der Existenzanalyse eingegangen und zentrale Begriffe wie Transzendenz, Freiheit, Verantwortung und die Fragen des Lebens in Bezug dazu erklärt. In einem zweiten Teil des Kapitels wird die philosophische Begründung anhand der Philosophie Martin Heideggers erfolgen; hier werden dieselben Begriffe nun in Bezug zu seinem Verständnis von Ek-sistenz und Dasein gebracht werden. The Novel as Moment of In-Between. Oikological Considerations on the Where of Belletristic Prose Jonas Vanbrabant Abstract This master's thesis addresses the phenomenon of belletristic prose from an oikological point of view, on the question of the place of reading and writing. Considering the novel, and in the same breath the novella and the short story, as multiple moments of 'in-between' opens up perspectives beyond the phenomenologically superseded dichotomy of receptionist aesthetics on the one hand and productionist poetics on the other. Drawing on a wide variety of thinkers from the broader field of Husserl's legacy, notably Adorno, Bakhtin, Blumenberg, Derrida, Eco, Henry, IJsseling, Kundera, Levinas, Palmen, Richir, Ricœur, Schapp, Schütz, Sepp and Stein, the in-betweenness of the novel is explored in three chapters. Firstly along the selves of the reader and writer and the characters, showing, with focus on the role of empathy and affective phantasy, that these figures cannot but be configured inside the in-between of the literary work. In the second chapter regarding the problem of fiction, in which, minding the realistic and the imaginative preserved in fiction, the novel is being depicted as woven or weavable fabric, which precisely because of its in-betweenness leads to meaning and sympathy.... Oikologische Überlegungen zum Wo der belletristischen Prosa Jonas Vanbrabant Zusammenfassung Die vorliegende Masterarbeit nähert sich dem Phänomen belletristischer Prosa aus einem oikologischen Gesichtspunkt, zu der Frage nach dem Ort des Lesens und Schreibens. Den Roman, und im gleichen Atemzug die Novelle und Kurzgeschichte, als mehrfachen Moment des ‚Zwischen' zu betrachten, eröffnet Perspektiven jenseits der phänomenologisch überholten Dichotomie von rezeptionsmäßiger Ästhetik auf der einen, und produktionsmäßiger Poetik auf der anderen Seite. Gestützt, nun, auf verschiedensten Denker aus dem breiteren Umfeld von Husserls Erbe, zumal Adorno, Bachtin, Blumenberg, Derrida, Eco, Henry, IJsseling, Kundera, Levinas, Palmen, Richir, Ricœur, Schapp, Schütz, Sepp und Stein, wird die Zwischenheit des Romans in drei Kapiteln erprobt. The diploma thesis focuses on the theme of death, dying and grief in modern German picture books. The theoretical basis of this thesis is, in addition to the chapter on death, its concept in literature, the children's world and theology, a chapter on picture books and the afterlife from the perspective of world religions. In the practical part, selected works are interpreted and compared with each other based on their content. The aim of the thesis is to prove that death has never been a taboo subject in children's literature, but on the contrary, a rich subject, which is popularly depicted. Among other things, the thesis shows that each narrator and protagonist views death in a slightly different way, treats and evaluates it differently. Nevertheless, the final reconciliation is thematized in all texts. KEYWORDS Death, dying, literature, children, adolescents, consolation, sorrow, picture books Diplomová práce se soustředí na téma smrti, umírání a zármutku v moderních německy psaných obrázkových knihách. Teoretický základ této práce představuje vedle kapitoly o smrti, jejím pojetí v literatuře, dětském světě a teologii, kapitola věnovaná obrázkovým knihám a taktéž kapitola zasvěcená posmrtnému životu z pohledu světových náboženství. V praktické části jsou vybraná díla interpretována a navzájem porovnávána na základě jejich obsahu. Cílem práce je dokázat, že smrt nikdy nebyla v dětské literatuře tabuizovaným tématem, ale naopak námětem bohatým a s oblibou zobrazovaným. Výsledkem práce je mimo jiné zjištění, že každý vypravěč i protagonista na smrt nahlíží poněkud odlišným způsobem, jinak ji zpracovává a vyhodnocuje. Využití multimediálních aplikací pro rozvoj nácviku jazykových prostředků ve výuce němčiny jako cizího jazyka

The thesis deals with the implementation of modern technologies and multimedia applications in the teaching of German as a foreign language. The first part of the thesis focuses on defining the theoretical background. Important concepts are introduced to better orientation in the problems of the thesis. Furthermore, the role of technology in society and also in teaching is described. At the same time, this section presents the theoretical findings on the use of modern technologies during the Covid-19 pandemic and a comparison of the frequency of their use before and after the pandemic, that is, at the present time. Finally, the advantages and pitfalls of using modern technologies in teaching are described. A list of multimedia applications that can be used in the teaching of German is also provided. In the next part of the thesis, which is based on quantitative research, we analyse the results of a questionnaire survey conducted with pupils and teachers of upper primary and lower secondary schools. The results show that pupils and teachers are generally positive about the use of modern technologies in teaching. Some teachers use technology less because they believe that students are distracted and unfocused. Conversely, pupils see modern technology as a means of motivating them to perform better... Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice implementace moderních technologií a multimediálních aplikací do výuky němčiny jako cizího jazyka. První část práce se zaměřuje na vymezení teoretických východisek. Jsou zde představeny důležité pojmy sloužící k lepší orientaci v problematice práce. Dále je popsána role technologií ve společnosti a i ve výuce. Zároveň jsou v této části uvedeny teoretické poznatky k používání moderních technologií v čase pandemie Covid-19 a srovnání frekvence jejich používání před pandemií a po ní, tedy v současné době. V neposlední řadě jsou popsány výhody a úskalí, která přináší používání moderních technologií ve výuce. Rovněž je zde uveden výčet multimediálních aplikací, které lze ve výuce němčiny využít. V další části práce, která je založena na kvantitativním výzkumu, analyzujeme výsledky dotazníkového šetření, které proběhlo u žáků a učitelů 2. stupně základních škol a nižšího stupně víceletých gymnázií. Dospěla jsem k takovým výsledkům, že žáci i pedagogové se staví k využívání moderních technologií ve výuce vesměs pozitivně. Někteří vyučující používají technologie méně, protože zastávají názor, že jsou žáci rozptýleni a nesoustředěni. Diplomová práce zkoumá totalitní systémy 20. století na základě komparativní analýzy tří vybraných literárně-historických děl vycházejících z různých kulturních pozadí. Jedná se o díla Souostroví Gulag od Alexandra Solženicyna, Divoké labutě od Jung Changové a Poslední stanice život od Ruth Klügerové. Jako pomůcka pro komparativní analýzu děl je zvolena eklekticky sestavená hermeneutická interpretační metoda, která dodává analýze strukturu. Diplomová práce si klade za cíl zodpovědět otázku, zda je možné použít literárně-filozofický interpretační přístup jako je hermeneutika ke zkoumání historických událostí zanesených do literárně-historických uměleckých děl. Dále se práce v rámci analytické části zabývá otázkou, zda lze napříč kulturně odlišnými totalitními systémy nalézt společné a objektivní prvky totalitního systému jako takového. The thesis examines totalitarian regimes of the 20th century through comparative analysis of three selected literary works from different cultural backgrounds. The selected works are The Gulag Archipelago by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, Wild Swans by Jung Chang and Still alive by Ruth Klüger. The comparative analysis of the works will be carried out using an eclectically constructed hermeneutic method. This method will give structure to the analysis. The aim of the thesis is to answer the question of whether it is possible to use a literary-philosophical approach such as hermeneutics to study historical events recorded in literary works. In addition, the analytical part of the thesis deals with the question whether common and objective elements of a totalitarian system as such can be found across culturally different totalitarian systems.
