Stylizace mluvenosti v současné české próze jako překladatelský problém pro jazykovou kombinaci čeština-němčina

This thesis examines the translation of stylization of orality in the context of linguistics, the development of language and literature as well as translation theory. Three contemporary Czech novels and their translations are analyzed in regard to their oral features. The statistical analysis applies selected elements, that are characterized in specialized literature as typical for orality. It explores their incidence using a corpus analysis method. As concerns the source texts, the results show differences regarding the levels of language and groups of lexemes, which indicates an individual stylization. This is, to a lesser extent, true of the target texts as well, notwithstanding the fact that they show a greater uniformity overall. A contrastive comparison leads to the conclusion, that oral features with more commonality in Czech tend to be neutralized to a greater extent. A functional analysis of orality is also carried out. Its aim is to characterize the impression (Wirkung) of orality in a given passage and distinguish between the so called adapted and mimetic kinds of orality. It becomes clear, that the... Tato práce se zabývá překladem stylizace mluvenosti v kontextu lingvistiky, vývoje jazyka a literatury a teorie překladu. Analyzujeme rysy mluvenosti ve třech současných českých románech a jejich překladech. Kvantitativní analýza vychází z vybraných prvků, které jsou v odborné literatuře charakterizovány jako typické pro mluvenost. Jejich výskyt pak zkoumáme pomocí korpusové analýzy. Analýza původních děl prokázala, že mezi romány existují v rovinách jazyka i v rámci konkrétních slovních druhů rozdíly, což je znakem individuální stylizace. Tento individuální postup lze v omezené míře pozorovat i v překladech, třebaže stylizace překladů je vcelku spíše jednotná. Díky kontrastivnímu pohledu můžeme konstatovat, že míra nivelizace je obzvlášť velká, pokud jde o rysy, které jsou v češtině rozšířené. Následuje kvalitativní analýza stylizované mluvenosti, jejímž cílem je v daném úryvku popsat působení mluvenosti a také umožnit rozlišování mezi tzv. adaptovaným a mimetickým druhem mluvenosti. Tato analýza používá vlastní model a poukazuje mj. na zvláštní význam obecné češtiny, jakož i na částice a sémanticky vyprázdněná příslovce v němčině. Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá motivací, resp. demotivací ve výuce němčiny jako cizího jazyka a nabízí praktické přístupy k práci s nemotivovanými žáky v hodinách němčiny. Teoretická východiska této práce tvoří základní koncepty neokomunikativní výuky cizích jazyků. Na vysvětlení základních pojmů pro výuku cizích jazyků ve 21. století navazují kapitoly věnované motivaci a demotivaci. Tato část práce pojednává také o typech motivace, motivech a motivaci k učení (se cizím jazykům). V souvislosti s těmito tématy jsou představeny pojmy nemotivovaní žáci a aktivizační metody. Aktivizační metody jsou prezentovány jako příležitosti k motivování nemotivovaných žáků v hodinách německého jazyka. V empirické části práce jsou vybrané aktivizační metody testovány ve výuce němčiny. Výzkum se vztahuje k motivaci a demotivaci žáků v hodinách německého jazyka na základní škole. Zkoumaní žáci jsou účastni jak hodin němčiny obsahujících aktivizačních metody, tak hodin bez aktivizačních metod. Aktivita žáků je zkoumána po dobu několika týdnů. Shromážděná data poskytují poznatky o příslušných aktivizačních metodách a jejich vlivu na aktivitu žáků. Lze očekávat, že metody, u nichž se prokáže vysoký aktivizační účinek, se výhledově stanou součástí výuky. This thesis deals with motivation and demotivation in lessons of German as foreign language (GFL), and offers practical approaches for dealing with unmotivated GFL learners. The theoretical basis of this work is formed by the central approaches of neo-communicative foreign language teaching. The explanation of the basic terms for foreign language teaching in the 21st century is followed by separate chapters dedicated to motivation and demotivation respectively. This part also discusses types of motivation, motives and (language) learning motivation. In relation to that, unmotivated learners and activation methods are addressed in the further course of the work. Activation methods are presented as motivational opportunities for unmotivated GFL learners. In the empirical part of the thesis, selected activation methods are tested in GFL lessons. The research is carried out on the (de)motivation of GFL learners at an upper primary school. The research participants take part in both German lessons including activation methods and in lessons not including any. Their active participation in the class is researched over a period of several weeks. Based on the data collected, valuable insights into the respective activation methods and their effect on student activity are provided. Methods proven to have a high activation effect are expected to eventually find their way into teaching practice.

This diploma thesis aims to study the protocol literature which originated mainly in the former German Democratic Republic. The protocol literature of the Federal Republic of Germany is mentioned only briefly. In connection with the protocol literature, it is vital to firstly deal with the ambiguity and nonuniformity of the term Protokoll-Literatur. It is also necessary to clarify the term Frauenliteratur and Männerliteratur. The main objective of the theoretical part is to set the protocol literature into its historical and cultural context, to characterise protocol literature - its features, mainly the authenticity and subjectivity of this type of literature. The important task of this thesis is to manage the classification of the protocol literature into a literary genre and answer the question whether the protocol literature can be regarded as an independent literary genre. Furthermore, the topics occurring in the protocol literature are presented. Each topic is accompanied with a list of literary works, which are briefly introduced. The second part of the thesis offers an interpretation of three selected works of the so called Männerliteratur. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá protokolární literaturou, která vznikala především v bývalé Německé demokratické republice Německo. Protokolární literatura Spolkové republiky Německo je zmíněna pouze okrajově. V souvislosti s protokolární literaturou je nutné se nejdříve vypořádat s nejasnostmi a nejednotnostmi v používání termínu Protokoll-Literatur a objasnit termíny Frauenliteratur a Männerliteratur. Hlavním cílem teoretické části práce je zasadit protokolární literaturu do historického a kulturního kontextu, charakterizovat protokolární literaturu - její znaky, a to především autentičnost a subjektivnost tohoto druhu literatury. Důležitým úkolem práce je rovněž objasnit žánrové zařazení protokolární literatury a podat odpověď na otázku, zda může být protokolární literatura považována za samostatný literární žánr. This diploma thesis explores the lyrical poetry of Eduard Mörike (1804-1875), a German poet. The topic of the thesis is theencountering of nature and love in his works. This poet, less known in the Czech context, wrote various kinds of poems, which deserve attention. The thesis is divided in two parts, theoretical and interpretative. In the first part, the thesis focuses on giving an overall context (I deal with a historical context, literary epochs, during which Eduard Mörike wrote, his personality and general introduction in lyrical poetry). The second part of my thesis aims to interpret selected poems, which are divided bytheir themes: romantic love, the morning, wayfaring, the forest and the so-called "Dinggedichte," or poems focusing on understanding and appreciation of a single item. In each poem, a mood or feeling that characterizes the poem is described, who is the speaker within the poem, and which topics of love and nature can be observed. From the perspective of form, I analyze the rhyme scheme. The analysis of each thematic group also contains a comparation of the poems. The interpretational part aims to connect and evaluate the interweaving of love and nature in the poetic works of Eduard Mörike and touch upon the deeper meaning of the poems. Its aim is also to make the selected works... Diplomová práce se zabývá lyrikou německého básníka 19. století Eduarda Mörika (1804-1875). Tématem práce je potkávání přírody a lásky v jeho básních. V českém kontextu méně známý básník psal rozličné druhy a typy básní, které si zasluhují pozornost. Práce se dělí na dvě části, teoretickou a interpretační. V první části se práce ve čtyřech stručnějších kapitolách zaměřuje na uvedení do celkového kontextu (věnuji se historickému kontextu, dále literárním epochám, ve kterých Eduard Mörike tvořil, jeho osobnosti a obecnému úvodu do jeho lyriky). Druhá část se věnuje interpretaci vybraných básní, které jsou podle tématu rozděleny na básně milostné, básně s tematikou rána, putování, lesa a na tzv. "báseň-věc" (Dinggedicht), tedy básně věnující se pochopení a oslavě jednoho předmětu. V každé básni je popsána nálada či pocit, kterým se báseň vyznačuje, jaký mluvčí v básni promlouvá a jaké motivy lásky a přírody se v básni objevují. Z formálních otázek se zabývám rýmovým schématem. Analýza každého tematického okruhu zahrnuje i porovnání básní. Interpretační část si klade za cíl propojit a zhodnotit v básnické tvorbě Eduarda Mörika prolínání lásky a přírody a postihnout hlubší smysl básní. Cílem této diplomové práce je analyzovat užití metafory v oblasti přírodních věd znázorněné na příkladu Astronomie. Práce se nejprve zaměří na vymezení pojmu metafora a představí základní pojetí tohoto fenoménu. Následně je pozornost věnována zejména užití kognitivní teorie metafory ve vědě, která tvoří teoretický základ pro praktickou analýzu získaných dat a porovnání užití metafory v odborných a populárně naučných textech. V empirické časti je pomocí korpusu, sestaveného z populárně naučných textů, zkoumán výskyt metafor, jejich konkrétní užití a funkce při zprostředkovávání informací o vzdáleném vesmíru. Především se práce soustředí na klasifikaci metafor podle zdrojových oblastí, ze kterých pocházejí. V rámci jednotlivých kategorií jsou konkrétní metafory interpretovány. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty výsledky analýzy. Na základě těchto výsledků jsou stanoveny obecné tendence v používání metafor v populárně naučné literatuře. The aim of this thesis is to analyse metaphor use in the field of natural sciences which will be demonstrated on the example of astronomy. First, the thesis focuses on the definition of the term metaphor and introduces the main approaches to this phenomenon. Furthermore, a special attention is paid to the application of the cognitive theory of metaphor in science which represents the theoretical basis for the practical analysis of gathered data, and to the comparison of metaphor use in technical and popular science writing. In the practical part, the occurrence of metaphor, its specific use, and function in providing information about the distant universe are examined by using a corpus compiled from popular science articles. The thesis focuses primarily on the classification of metaphors according to the source domains which they originated from. Specific metaphors are construed within individual categories. In the end of the thesis, results yielded by the analysis are summarised. Based on these results, general tendencies concerning the use of metaphor in popular science literature are defined.

The diploma thesis is concerned with reception of the Austrian novelist and playwright Thomas Bernhard in the Czech Republic after 1989. The piece of work mainly focuses on how the writer was presented to the Czech society. The thesis also responds to the statement of the Czech Germanist Milan Tvrdík who said, in 1995, that Thomas Bernhard still awaits discovery of his writings in the Czech Republic and, so far, is an author mostly for Germanists. Theoretical framework of the work is based on the reception theory of Constance school. The research is mainly focused on the Czech translations of the Bernhard's books which contain epilogues and editorial notes, then on the reviews of the Bernhard's plays introduced in the Czech theatres between 1989 and 2019. Considering the fact that some adaptations of Bernhard's plays in our country offered an interesting link between Czech and Slovakian acting scene, an insight of the Bernhard's reception in Slovakia is a part of the work. The analysis takes into consideration external factors, too. These factors are translators, editors, or individual publishing houses Prostor, Mladá Fronta, Divadelní ústav or Odeon, which have influenced the reception of Bernhard's work in the Czech Republic. Diplomová práce se zabývá přijetím rakouského spisovatele a dramatika Thomase Bernharda v Čechách po roce 1989 a především tím, jaký obraz tohoto dramatika byl české veřejnosti představen. Práce tak reaguje na výrok českého germanisty Milana Tvrdíka z roku 1995, že Thomas Bernhard stále čeká v Čechách na své objevení a zatím je autorem pouze pro germanisty. Teoretický rámec práce se opírá o recepční teorii Kostnické školy. Hlavním předmětem výzkumu jsou potom především české překlady Bernhardova díla s doslovy a edičními poznámkami, stejně tak jako analýza recenzí Bernhardových her uvedených na českých jevištích mezi lety 1989 a 2019. Vzhledem k tomu, že některé adaptace Bernhardových her nabídly propojení české a slovenské herecké scény, je součástí práce i vhled do situace přijetí Bernharda na Slovensku. Při analýze jsou dále zohledněny i vnější faktory ovlivňující přijetí Bernhardova díla v České republice, jakými jsou překladatelé, editoři nebo jednotlivá nakladatelství jako Prostor, Mladá Fronta, Divadelní ústav nebo Odeon. Z kvalitativní analýzy zkoumaných textů je vyvozen obraz rakouského dramatika, jak byl, resp. je předkládán českému publiku.

The Otherness of the Marxist Philosophy of History: An Attempt at Symbolic Conceptualization Abstract: The presented master's thesis makes an attempt to re-contextualize the Marxist philosophy of history in relation to its otherness (Anderssein) and thereby to shift the methodologically central accent away from the category of totality (worked out mainly in Lukács' "History and Class Consciousness"). This new perspective is to be centred on the phenomena that cannot be fully covered in a scientific or strictly materialist manner and that nevertheless belong to the conceptual framework of Marxism. For this purpose, the other (das Andere) is defined as the symbolic (das Symbolische), which is further examined in the first part of the thesis with reference to Kant's "Critique of Judgment" and on the basis of several descriptions - discursive and phenomenological alike. The symbolic is then outlined as a special type of figurative that overcomes the figurative itself and thus constitutes a transcending operation. In the second part of the paper, this definition is applied to the Marxist philosophy of history with the aim to explicate its symbolic figures and to show their conceptual tensions. Die Andersheit der Marxistischen Geschichtsphilosophie: Ein Versuch der symbolischen Auslegung Abstract: In der Arbeit wird der Versuch unternommen, die Marxistische Geschichtsphilosophie in Bezug auf ihr Anderssein neu zu thematisieren und dabei den methodologisch zentralen Akzent von der Kategorie der Totalität (ausgearbeitet hauptsächlich in Lukács' "Geschichte und Klassenbewußtsein") auf das zu verschieben, was sich im konzeptuellen Zusammenhang des Marxismus wissenschaftlich bzw. streng materialistisch nicht einholen lässt und nichtsdestoweniger zu den Denkkonstellationen des Marxismus gehört. Das Andere wird hierfür als das Symbolische begriffen, welches im ersten Teil der Arbeit im Ausgang von Kants "Kritik der Urteilskraft" durch eine Reihe diskursive sowie phänomenologische Bestimmungen als eine solche Bildlichkeit erfasst wird, woran das Bildliche sich selbst überschreitet, und zwar in einem transzendierenden Vorgang. This thesis deals with the analysis of novels Die Erziehung des Mannes and Die Liebe der Väter. Introductory part analyzes the father role and the role of a man in today's world. Next section offers a brief summary of both novels. Afterwards we inspect the main protagonists and the narrative of the two stories. Both novels are written in first person narrative. The main protagonist is the narrator in both cases. The plot is told from male perspective, an important theme of both books is fatherly love. In the summary of the thesis we discuss whether these novels are Bildungsromans. In both books there is a journey motif present. There is some development in relationships and in the main characters as well. KEYWORDS manhood, parenthood, relationships, partnership, breakup Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou románů Die Erziehung des Mannes a Die Liebe der Väter. Úvodní část práce se zabývá rolí muže a otce v současném světě. Následuje představení obou románů. Poté se práce věnuje protagonistům románů a tomu, jakým způsobem je příběh vyprávěn. Oba romány jsou psané v Ich-formě, vypravěčem je hlavní hrdina. Děj je vyprávěn z mužské perspektivy, důležitým tématem obou děl je otcovská láska. V závěru se práce pokouší odpovědět na otázku, zda se jedná o vývojové romány. V obou románech se vyskytuje motiv cesty, dojde k vývoji vztahů i k proměně hlavního hrdiny. Thesis deals with question, how is pluricentricity of German taken in consideration in classes in the Czech Republic. The research consists in analysis of textbooks and analysis of the data, which were acquired through interviews and group discussions and questionnaire. The attitudes of teachers and pupils of high schools and elementary schools to pluricentricity are evaluated according to language management theory. The information about pluricentricity (predominantly from the lexicon) are transmitted in textbooks as well as in classes to the pupils in a disorganized way. The teachers accept austrian varieties if they recognize them as austrian lexemes, but the preference for the dominant variety is apparent and for didactical accounted. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá otázkou, jak je zohledněna pluricentričnost němčiny ve vyučování němčiny jako druhého cizího jazyka v České republice. Výzkum spočívá v analýze učebnic a analýze dat, která byla získání pomocí rozhovorů a skupinových rozhovorů. Postoje učitelů a žáků středních i základních škol k pluricentrismu jsou ohodnoceny v teoretickém rámci jazykového managementu. Informace týkající se pluricentrismu jsou v učebnicích i ze strany vyučujících předávány nesystematicky, nejčastěji jsou (pokud vůbec) tématizovány varianty v oblasti slovní zásoby. Učitelé akceptují rakouské varianty, pokud je jako rakouské lexémy rozpoznají, preference pro dominantní variantu je však zřetelná a obhajována jako odpovídající didaktickým principům.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate unofficial ways that spread the ideas of right-wing- populism with focus on family, especially on mother as a primar mediator. In a background of a right-wing traditional family will be researched the psychological strategies, that populists use to involve the family through the children. One of those strategies are ideologically based summer camps, that raise the political and social thinking, that the children brought from their families. The impact of those strategies will be theoretically and practically analysed. Keywords right-wing populism, family influence, prejudices, education of children, role of a woman, closed societies Cílem práce je prozkoumat neoficiální cesty, kterými jsou rozšiřovány pravicově populistické myšlenky se zaměřením na rodinu a především matku, jako primárního zprostředkovatele. Na pozadí tradiční, pravicově smýšlející, rodiny budou zkoumány psychologické strategie díky kterým mají populisté skrze rodinu vliv na děti. K těmto strategiím patří kupříkladu jednoznačně ideologicky vyhraněné letní tábory, jež umocňují a posilují politické a sociální smýšlení, které si děti nesou z rodiny. Vliv těchto strategii bude analyzován teoreticky i prakticky na základě výzkumu v terénu. Klíčová slova: pravicový populismus, vliv rodiny, předsudky, výchova dětí, role ženy, uzavřená společenství
