Large-scale dynamics on the Sun

1999 - Czech New results about the temporal evolution of the large-scale back-ground distribution of magnetic flux on the Sun are presented. Besides the generally accepted axially symmetrc differential rotation also the non-symmetric component o the horizontal transport velocity was found. The horizontl flow with highly organized structure of the flow pattern should be explained by Rossby waves and eddies, generatedin the whole spherical shell of the convection zone. Jsou prezentovány nové výsledky o časovém vývoji velkorozměrového rozložení pozaďového magnetického toku. Vedle obecně akceptované osově symetrické diferenciální rotace byla nalezena také nesymetrická složka transportní rychlosti. Vysoce organizované struktury horizontálního proudění mohou být vysvětlovány prostĹednictvím mechanizmu Rossbyho vln a vírů, generovaných v celé kulové slupce sluneční konvektivní zóny. The influence of the reference zero-velocity on the model of the vector velocity field in a symmetric sunspot

1999 - Czech It appears that the occurrence of the vector velocity in an umbra caused by the shift of the Doppler-velocity zero-reference level can be successfully corrected by the position change of the point of symmetry of the spot. In such a case, the character of the spot vector velocity field will= be conserved.
