This research aimed to elucidate the role and importance of the millipede gut microbiome in cellulose digestion by using inhibitors to disrupt potential host-symbiosis and assessing their effects on millipede digestion and overall health. It involved the first comprehensive profiling of microbial communities within the hindgut and faeces of two distinct millipede species: Epibolus pulchripes, a tropical species found on the East African coast, and Glomeris connexa, a temperate species native to Central Europe. Although both species share a similar detritivorous lifestyle, they differ in size and gut redox conditions, with G. connexa being smaller (10-17 mm) than E. pulchripes (130-160 mm). The study also revealed the potential of the hindgut bacterial community in breaking down complex polysaccharides and recycling nutrients. It described the active bacterial community vital for certain processes and the extent of the millipedes' dependence on them. Additionally, the research provided a comprehensive investigation of viral communities in the hindguts of the two millipedes and their role in enhancing metabolism and modulating microbial composition. Furthermore, it introduced a new perspective that millipedes primarily ingest litter to gain access to microbial biomass (primarily fungal), which they and their gut microbiota consume. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to present ideas for musical activities for kindergarten, which do not require the skill of playing an instrument on the part of the preschool teacher. The theoretical part contains the definition of the meaning of musical activities in kindergarten and their distribution - musical activities in accordance with the Framework Educational Program for preschool education and their methodical guidance in kindergarten. It also characterizes musical abilities of children in the preschool period according to their age. The practical part describes the implementation of musical activities in kindergarten and the evaluation of activities using the method of observation and interview. Cílem bakalářské práce je předložit náměty hudebních aktivit pro mateřskou školu, které nevyžadují u předškolního pedagoga dovednost hry na nástroj. Teoretická část obsahuje vymezení významu hudebních činností v mateřské škole a jejich rozdělení - hudební činnosti v souladu s Rámcovým vzdělávacím programem pro předškolní vzdělávání a jejich metodické vedení v mateřské škole. Dále charakterizuje hudební schopnosti dětí v předškolním období podle jejich věku. Praktická část popisuje realizace hudebních aktivit v mateřské škole a evaluace aktivit metodou pozorování a rozhovoru.

The bachelor's thesis contains a research investigation, based on the idea of why parents choose alternative education for their child. The answers to this question are obtained through a questionnaire, which is also the main element of the bachelor's thesis. The alternative ways of education in the Czech Republic are described in detail here. Furthermore, the thesis aims to guide and help parents who think about alternative education and are about to choose a kindergarten for their child. The research investigation of a quantitative nature is depicted in the practical part using the already mentioned questionnaire which is subsequently described and evaluated using a graph. Bakalářská práce obsahuje výzkumné šetření založené na myšlence, z jakého důvodu si rodiče vybírají alternativní vzdělávání pro své dítě, kde odpovědi na tuto otázku jsou získávány pomocí dotazníku, který je zároveň hlavním prvkem bakalářské práce. Jsou zde podrobně popsány alternativní vzdělávací směry, které se nacházejí v České republice. Dále práce slouží také jako podrobný průvodce a pomocník pro rodiče, kteří se chystají vybrat mateřskou školu pro své dítě a uvažují nad alternativním vzděláváním. Výzkumné šetření kvantitativního charakteru je v praktické části vyobrazeno pomocí již zmíněného dotazníku, který byl předložen respondentům, následně je popsán a vyhodnocen pomocí grafu.

The booklet of quick activities using music

The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to point out the importance of movement in connection with music in kindergartens. The booklet of quick activities using music can help the teachers to motivate the children to take interest in movement and music and to realize the aforementioned in a fun way. In the theoretical part of the thesis, I focused on the fields of movement and music theory in preschool education, on the importance of movement in the preschool age, on the said problematics of developing movement habits in children through activities and motivating them to move with music. In the practical part I focused on creating the "Booklet of quick activities using music", which develops moving and hearing abilities and improves the skills of preschoolers. Included in the booklet are activities for the four seasons. In this part of the thesis, I dealt with particular exercises, game suggestions, warmup ideas in connection with music, all of which are incorporated into the thematic plan: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. All the exercises and musical activities are carried out in kindergarten practice. Cílem mé bakalářské práce je poukázat na význam pohybu dětí v mateřské škole propojeného hudbou. Jak je pohyb pro děti předškolního věku důležitý. Nápadník pohybových chvilek propojených hudbou může pomoci učitelům a učitelkám motivovat děti k pohybu a zájmu o hudbu v mateřské škole a poradit, jak zábavnou formou pohyb a hudbu realizovat. V teoretické části jsem se zaměřila na oblasti pohybové a hudební teorie v předškolní pedagogice, na význam pohybu pro děti předškolního věku, na problematiku rozvoje pohybu u dětí formou pohybových aktivit a motivaci k pohybu pomocí hudby. V praktické části jsem se zaměřila na vytvoření "Nápadníku pohybových chvilek pomocí hudby", který rozvíjí pohybové a sluchové schopnosti a zdokonaluje dovednosti dětí předškolního věku. Součástí nápadníku jsou aktivity na všechna čtyři roční období. V praktické části jsem se věnovala konkrétním cvikům, námětům pohybových her, rozcvičkám propojeným hudbou a řízeným činnostem, které jsou zakomponovány do tematického plánu - jaro, léto, podzim a zima. Všechny pohybové aktivity a hudební činnosti jsou realizovány v praxi mateřské školy.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of kize and crisis interven?on and the benefits of using it in a kindergarten se?ng to support children who are in challenging life situa?ons. The theore?cal part introduces the topic of psychological crisis and the specifics of its experience in childhood, presents the principles of crisis intervention and again the specifics related to preschool children. The practical part is based on qualitative research based on interviews with eight preschool teachers, which maps their experiences with children's experiencing crisis and dealing with such situations in the kindergarten environment. Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku krize a krizové intervence a přínos jejího využití v prostředí mateřské školy pro podporu dětí, které jsou v náročné životní situaci. Teoretická část přibližuje téma psychické krize a specifika jejího prožívání v dětství, představuje principy krizové intervence a opět specifika vztahující se k dětem předškolního věku. Praktická část je založena na kvalitativním výzkumu založeném na rozhovorech s osmi předškolními pedagogy, který mapuje jejich zkušenosti s dětským prožíváním krize a řešením takových situací v prostředí mateřské školy.

It maps out rational and emotional aspects views of mutual parent - teacher communication. Further It deals with areas, where teachers feels lower degree of confidence. It reveals communication strategies which are used in parent-teacher communication. Bakalářská práce se zabývá způsoby, nástroji, přístupy a příležitostmi, které volí učitelky mateřských škol pro komunikaci s rodiči. Mapuje pohledy na racionální a emocionální aspekty vzájemné komunikace. Zabývá se dále oblastmi, kde zapojené učitelky cítí nižší míru jistoty. Odhaluje komunikační strategie používané v komunikaci s rodiči.

Folk Song and Development of Sense of Rhythm in Kindergarten

The aim of this thesis is to create a programme for the development of rhythmic sensitivity based on folk songs, which can be used in kindergarten. The theoretical part discusses folk song and its importance in preschool education, rhythmic sensitivity as one of the musical skills, ontogenetic development of rhythmic sensitivity and possibilities of its support. One of the subchapters is focused on suitable methods and forms of preschool education. In the practical part, a programme of suitable activities for the development of rhythmic sensitivity with gradually increasing difficulty is created on the basis of folk songs. The focus is on the use of appropriate methods and forms of education. The programme is tested in a kindergarten classroom and evaluated. A method of observation and a test of rhythmic sensitivity in a selected group of children before and after the programme is used. In the conclusion, recommendations for the use of the programme in practice are given. Cílem práce je vytvořit na základě lidových písní program rozvoje rytmického cítění využitelný v mateřské škole. Teoretická část pojednává o lidové písni a jejím významu v předškolním vzdělávání, rytmickém cítění jako jedné z hudebních schopností, ontogenetickém vývoji rytmického cítění a možnostech jeho podpory. Jedna z podkapitol je věnována vhodným metodám a formám předškolního vzdělávání. V praktické části je vytvořen na základě lidových písní program vhodných činností pro rozvíjení rytmického cítění s postupně se zvyšující náročností. Důraz je kladen na využití vhodných metod a forem vzdělávání. Program je ověřen ve třídě v mateřské škole a evaluován. Je využita metoda pozorování a testu rytmického cítění u vybrané skupiny dětí před začátkem a po ukončení programu. V závěru je uvedeno doporučení pro využití programu v praxi.

The aim of this study is to investigate how women who are mothers of children aged between two and seven years and are also kindergarten teachers cope with the demands of both life roles. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the practical one. The theoretical part contains chapters that deal with the history of pre-school teachers and the changes in motherhood in a historical context, teaching in kindergarten and motherhood today, the demands of both roles, the psychological and physical problems to which both mothers and teachers are prone, and the different ways and options for psychological hygiene. The practical part presents the results of the research investigation, which was carried out by quantitative research, specifically by questionnaire method. The following research problem was set: According to kindergarten teachers, what is the impact of motherhood on their professional life? The research sample consisted of kindergarten teachers who have a child or children between the ages of two and seven and who were also kindergarten teachers prior to their own motherhood. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak ženy, které jsou matkami dítěte ve věku od dvou do sedmi let a zároveň učitelkami v mateřských školách, zvládají náročnost obou životních rolí. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část obsahuje kapitoly, které se věnují historii učitelek v předškolních zařízeních a proměnám mateřství v historickém kontextu, učitelství v mateřské škole i mateřství v dnešní době, náročnostem obou rolí, psychickým a fyzickým problémům, ke kterým jsou matky i učitelky náchylnější, a různým způsobům a možnostem psychohygieny. V praktické části jsou prezentovány výsledky výzkumného šetření, které bylo realizováno kvantitativní metodou, a to prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření. Byl stanoven následující výzkumný problém: Jaký má podle učitelek mateřských škol vliv mateřství na jejich profesní život? Výzkumný soubor tvořily učitelky mateřských škol, které mají dítě nebo děti ve věku od dvou do sedmi let a zároveň byly učitelkami v mateřské škole ještě před vlastním mateřstvím.

Development of graphomotor skills in preschool children through musical activities

This bachelor thesis deals with the development of graphomotor skills from simpler to more complex graphomotor elements. The aim of my bachelor thesis is to create a program for preschool children supporting the development of graphomotor skills through musical activities. The thesis comprises both theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical section focuses on clarifying key concepts related to preschool education. It mentions psychomotor development, which discusses the abilities and skills of children in the preschool period. Another chapter addresses graphomotor development, describing individual graphomotor elements. Further chapters are devoted to musical activities and their classification, the development of children's drawing, and the role of play and fairy tales in the preschool period. In the practical part, the created program will be tested. Units of the program, motivated by specific graphomotor elements, will be described here, and their functionality will then be verified in two age-differentiated classes. The units will subsequently be evaluated using observation and interview methods. In the conclusion of the thesis, the idea of whether movement combined with music has a positive impact on the development of a child's graphomotor skills is reflected upon. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá rozvojem grafomotoriky od jednodušších po složitější grafomotorické prvky. Cílem mé bakalářské práce je vytvořit program pro děti předškolního věku podporující rozvoj grafomotoriky hudebními činnostmi. Práce obsahuje teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se v jednotlivých kapitolách zaměřuje na objasnění klíčových pojmů spojených s předškolním vzděláváním. Je zde zmíněn psychomotorický vývoj zaměřující se na vymezení a charakteristiku schopností a dovedností dítěte v předškolním období. Samostatná kapitola je věnována grafomotorickému vývoji, v níž jsou popsány jednotlivé grafomotorické prvky. Další kapitoly jsou věnovány hudebním činnostem a jejich rozdělení, vývoji dětské kresby a roli hry a pohádky v předškolním období. V praktické části bude ověřen vytvořený program. Jednotky programu jsou motivované na konkrétní grafomotorické prvky a v praktické části budou blíže popsány. Funkčnost jednotky bude vždy ověřena ve dvou věkově odlišných třídách. Jednotky budou následně evaluovány za pomoci metod pozorování a rozhovoru. V závěru práce je reflektována myšlenka, zdali má pohyb ve spojení s hudbou kladný vliv na rozvoj dítěte v oblasti grafomotoriky.

The bachelor thesis addresses the issue of loss in the lives of preschool-age children. The theoretical part primarily focuses on the cognitive and emotional understanding of loss during the preschool period of a child. In connection with this, the theoretical section examines the most common losses in the lives of children within the family and preschool context. Additionally, other significant losses that children may encounter during the preschool period are introduced. The goal of the research part is to map the attitudes and experiences of parents and educators in preschools related to the losses that children cope with during this period. This objective will be achieved through qualitative research using semi-structured interviews. The research section also includes proposed activities that can help children recognize their emotions and work with them, assisting them in coping with losses encountered not only in the preschool period. Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou ztráty v životě dětí předškolního věku. Teoretická část se věnuje především dětským porozuměním ztrátě v rámci kognitivního a emočního vývoje v předškolním období. V souvislosti s tím jsou v teoretické části rozebírány nejčastější ztráty v životě dětí v kontextu rodiny a mateřských škol. Dále jsou zde představeny i další významné ztráty, se kterými se děti v předškolním období mohou setkat. Cílem výzkumné části bylo zmapovat postoje a zkušenosti rodičů a pedagogů v mateřské škole vztahující se ke ztrátám, se kterými se děti v tomto období vyrovnávají. Proto byly realizovány rozhovory s 2 rodiči a 2 pedagogy. Součástí výzkumné části jsou i navržené aktivity, které mohou pomoci dětem rozpoznávat své emoce a pracovat s nimi, což jim může pomoci při vyrovnávání se se ztrátami, se kterými se setkají nejen v předškolním období.
