This bachelor thesis deals with financial analysis Česká pojišťovna a.s. Its aim is to evaluate the financial situation of the company from 2005 to 2015 and suggest possible measures leading to the improvement of financial management in the company. The theoretical part describes users, sources and methods of a financial analysis. The practical part contains financial analysis of the company by means of methods of financial statements, ratio indicators and others. The acquired data are processed in graphs and tables. Designing the operation of a Vape Bar

This bachelor thesis aims to propose the design of the operation for a Vape Bar using operation management tools. Moreover, this BT provides first standards for operations of a Vape bar business in Prague. In the first chapter, Vape economy and its importance around the world is presented. This shows that its potentials are growing constantly and that the absence of such a business in Prague is an opportunity. The thesis then adheres the methodology of the process design framework, where it describes the importance and concepts of operation management tools. Finally, these methodologies are applied to design the operations in a Vape bar. First, the SIPOC tool is used to get a simple scope and the objectives of the operations before the work starts. Then, each point of the process design framework is designed and elaborated in detail in each following chapter. At the end, again the SIPOC tool is used to summarize the relevant information from previous chapters and to show the operation design proposal. As the results, the methodology is applied and the following findings yield to the conclusion that the first standardized projections of operation in a Vape bar constructed. This thesis is expected to be used as the general standards for operations in a Vape bar, thus making a small contribution to better controlling and management processes while running this business. The theoretical part of the research describes the key theoretical aspects related to branding, Its characteristics in Russia and the banking system and the process of its formation. The practical part explores the process of introducing and promotion of a payment system on the example of one Russian bank. In addition, the advantages of the product will be considered in front of international payment systems - Visa and MasterCard and among competitors in the Russian market. The purpose of the thesis was to analyze each branding process in the banking system of such a large product as the national payment system and to find out what results of bank and that system in general had by the end of 2016, what opinion of the population of Russia about the national payment system "MIR". This thesis covers the problem of culture shock that is nowadays becoming more and more popular, since our world is the world of both extensive and intensive integration and globalization. The aim of the work is to analyze how much international students in Prague are affected by culture shock. The first part of the thesis provides the deep information about the concept of culture shock. The second part of the work comprises the survey which was done by the mean of the questionnaire. The results are evaluated and presented in the particular chapter together with evaluations and inferences. The research shows that there are certain patterns of behavior that can be seen in particular cases regarding culture shock. This Bachelor Thesis focuses on the determinants of hypermarkets and areas for lean and operational management application. The goal of the thesis is to determine the applicability of lean and operational management tools in hypermarkets. The method of the analyses is the critical case study using the deductive approach. The theoretical part explains the main factors forming hypermarket and the main lean tools which can be applied for this topic. The practical part includes the different analyses of the observed hypermarket and the possible ways to improve the current situation there, using the lean management. The output of the thesis is the project for improvement, which can be used for the real-life application. Integrované hospodářské politiky, otevřený trh nebo pokročilý institucionální rámec, to jsou příklady úspěšného integračního procesu v EU. Nicméně, EU stále zahrnuje oblasti, jako je sociální politika, které byly integrací téměř nedotknuty. To může být ale vážný problém, jelikož sociální politika ovlivňuje hospodářský růst, rozvoj nebo míru zaměstnanosti, proto by měla EU hledat vhodné formy sociální politiky a zkoumat její integraci. Tato bakalářská práce vyslovuje pochybnosti ohledně jednotnosti sociální politiky a zkoumá ji na příkladu dávek spojených s rodičovstvím. Práce dále popisuje a testuje tyto dávky ve třech zemích EU (UK, SE, CZ), které reprezentují různé modely států blahobytu. V práci jsou spočteny dávky v mateřství a rodičovství pro pět typizovaných rodin, které popisují reálné životní situace a jejich porovnání ukazuje onu nejednotu a specifika zkoumaných systémů. Hlavní přínos této práce spočívá v netradičním přístupu použití výpočtu sociálních dávek ke zkoumání integrace sociální politiky. Well-integrated economic policies, open market and advanced institutional frameworks are examples of successful EU integration process, nonetheless, EU still contains areas, such as social policy, which have been almost untouched by integration. This may be a serious issue because social policy influences economic growth, development and the level of employment. Therefore, the EU should search the most appropriate social policy and examine its integration. The thesis questions this integration of social policy on the apposite example of parental leave. Furthermore, it describes and examines the parental leave in three EU countries (UK, SE, CZ), which represent diverse welfare state models. Parental allowances are computed for five standardised families describing real-life situations. Also, they are compared to demonstrate the disunity and the specifics of the systems. The main contribution of the thesis resides in the unconventional approach of using the calculations of the benefits to directly investigate the integration of social policy. Cílem této bakalářské práce je rozbor marketingových postupů při prodeji softwaru veřejné správě, za pomoci případové studie česko-slovenské softwarové společnosti, Atbon, a.s.. Práce si také klade za cíl zmenšit současnou znalostní mezeru v dané problematice, a to jak v akademické, tak v praktické sféře. Studie je rozdělena do dvou částí. První část, teoretická, představí charakteristiky různých typů trhů, softwarového průmyslu a popíše základy marketingové strategie, taktiky a analytických nástrojů, které budou použity při rozboru dané společnosti. Část praktická se zaměří na společnost Atbon, a.s., popíše a zanalyzuje její marketingovou činnost při prodeji nového softwarového produktu veřejnému sektoru. Na základě výsledků analýzy budou učiněny závěry a konkrétní doporučení. The objective of this thesis is to analyse the marketing practices behind software sales in the business to government market using an example of a Czech-Slovak software company, Atbon. a.s.. The thesis also aims to reduce the current gap in the academic and practitioners research in this area. The theoretical part of the paper covers the characteristics of different types of markets, features of the software industry, and explains the fundaments of marketing strategy, marketing tactics and marketing tools, which will be used in the analysis. The practical part then examines the marketing performance of Atbon, a.s. when launching their data redaction software in the B2G market. Based on the findings of this analysis, conclusion and suggestions for improvement are made. Cílem této bakalářské práce je provést strategickou analýzu maloobchodního řetězce BILLA, spol. s.r.o. a základě jejích výstupů formulovat strategická doporučení. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou popsány typické nástroje, metody a postupy, které zkoumají vlivy vnějšího prostředí a vnitřní zdroje podniku. V praktické části je nejprve vypracována analýza PESTLE, která se zaměřuje na nejvýznamnější vlivy z hlediska politických, ekonomických, sociálních, technologických, legislativních a environmentálních faktorů. Dále je provedena podrobná analýza odvětví, do něhož vybraná společnost patří, analýza stávající konkurence a situace na trhu. Poté následuje vypracování analýzy vnitřních zdrojů podniku, do nichž spadá především zhodnocení finanční situace podniku, marketingové strategie a produktového portfolia privátních značek společnosti. Na závěr jsou všechny poznatky dílčích analýz přehledně shrnuty do SWOT analýzy a byla formulována strategická doporučení pro společnost. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the strategy of the Czech grocery retailer BILLA Ltd. and to formulate strategic suggestions based on the outputs of the strategic analysis. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part includes common strategic models and methodology which are used for strategic analysis. The practical part includes, firstly, the PESTLE analysis, which focuses on main impacts of the political, economic, social, technological, legislative and environmental factors. This analysis if followed by in-depth analysis of the grocery retailing market sector, the existing competition and assessment of the current market situation. Further analysis aims at evaluation of the companys inner sources, more specifically its financial health, marketing strategy and private label product portfolio. In the conclusion, the outputs of all detail analysis are summarized in the final SWOT analysis and final recommendations are suggested.
