Machine learning applied to simulations of material mechanical behavior

The thesis explores the possibility of using machine learning models to predict effective macroscopic material parameters of multiphase materials. The asymptotic expansion homogenization method is used together with the finite element method to create software in Python, which is used to calculate effective macroscale mechanical parameters of sets of heterogeneous arrangements. These sets are generated using several methods, e.g. as a realization of a discretized random field. The sets are used to train neural networks built using the Keras library. The accuracy of the networks and the quality of training data are assessed. The advantages and disadvantages of the networks compared to the FEM solver are demonstrated on their application in an optimization problem. Diplomová práce se zabývá možností využití modelů strojového učení pro určování efektivních makroskopických materiálových charekteristik vícefázových materiálů. Po představení metody homogenizace asymptotickým rozvojem je s jejím využitím vytvořen na základě metody konečných prvků software v jazyce Python. Software je využit pro určení mechanických chrarakteristik sad heterogenních struktur generovaných několika různými metodami, např. jako realizace diskretizovaných náhodných polí. Tyto sady jsou využity k tréninku neuronových sítí, vytvořených pomocí knihovny Keras. Je vyhodnocena přesnost výstupů těchto sítí a posouzena kvalita trénovacích dat. Výhody a nevýhody sítí oproti FEM řešiči jsou demonstrovány na jejich aplikaci v optimalizační úloze.

Multifunctional building

The subject of this diploma thesis is the elaboration of project documentation for the construction of a multifunctional house in Milady Horáková Street. The building is designed in Brno - Zábrdovice together with the connection to the infrastructure. It is a four-storey building with one underground floor, the building serves as an administrative, catering and housing function. The entrance to the building is via Milady Horákové Street with each functional part having its own separate entrance. From the rear of the building from Příkop Street there is access to the underground parking together with the entrance for employees, supplies and the entrance to the technical room. On the ground floor there is a restaurant with a kitchen and all equipment, the reception of the administration together with facilities for the reception staff and the entrance to the residential part of the building. On the second and third floor there is the administrative part of the building and on the top floor there are four apartments with a terrace. All technical facilities from parking to heating have been designed for the object. The building is built on a reinforced concrete frame with monolithic ceilings. The roof structure is of a pitched green roof. Předmětem této diplomate práce je zpracování projektové dokumentace pro provádění stavby Polyfunkčního domu v ulici Milady Horákové. Objekt je navržen v Brně – Zábrdovice spolu s připojením na infrastrukturu. Jedná se o čtyřpodlažní objekt s jedním podzemním podlažím, objekt plní funkci administrativní, stravovací a bydlení. Vstup do budovy je přes ulici Milady Horákové s tím že každá funkční část má svůj samostatný vchod. Ze zadní části objektu z ulice Příkop je příjezd do podzemního parkování spolu se vstupem pro zaměstnance, zásobování a vstupem do technické místnosti. V přízemí se nachází restaurace s kuchyní a veškerým vybavením, recepce administrativy spolu se zázemím pro zaměstnance recepce a vchod do bytové části objektu. V druhém a třetím patře se nachází administrativní část budova a v posledním patře se nachází čtyři byty s terasou. Pro objekt bylo navržené veškeré technické zázemí od parkování po vytápění. Budova je postavená na železobetonovým skeletu s monolitickými stropy. Střešní konstrukce je z pochozí zelené střechy.

The aim of the diploma thesis is the design of the building of civic amenities in Hodonín. In particular, the leisure centre. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part of the thesis comprises architectural and structural designs, building physics assessment and energy certificate of the building. The leisure centre is a two-storey building with a flat green roof. It features various teaching rooms, including a language classroom, drama class, dance studios, technical facilities, and staff rooms. The superstructure consists of sand-lime block walls and pre-stressed concrete panel floor and roof structure. The envelope wall is insulated with ETICS. The second part focuses on the design of selected building services: space and domestic hot water heating, cooling, ventilation, and rainwater management. The heat is supplied by local district heating. Mechanical ventilation with two air handling units and a fan-coil cooling system is designed to ensure optimal indoor air quality. The third part is dedicated to the spatial acoustics in the different rooms part of a building, with an emphasis on improving the acoustic comfort for different activities and teaching rooms. Cílem diplomové práce je návrh Centra volného času v Hodoníně. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První část se zaměřuje na zpracování stavební části projektové dokumentace. Budova je samostatně stojící, má dvě podlaží s plochou zelenou střechou a nabízí široké spektrum výukových místností, jako jsou jazykové třídy, dramatické a taneční místnosti. Součástí objektu je také technické zázemí a místnosti pro personál. Konstrukční systém je stěnový, kde obvodové nosné konstrukce jsou tvořeny vápenopískovými tvárnicemi s kontaktní tepelnou izolací ETICS. Stropní konstrukce je tvořena předpjatými panely Spiroll. Součástí dokumentace je stavebně fyzikální posouzení a průkaz energetické náročnosti budovy. Druhá část se zaměřuje na návrh vybraných služeb budovy: vytápění prostor a teplé vody, chlazení, větrání a hospodaření s dešťovou vodou. Centrum volného času je zásobováno centrálním zásobováním teplem (CZT) přímo od místní teplárny v Hodoníně. Mechanické větrání se dvěma vzduchotechnickými jednotkami a systémem chlazení fan-coil je navrženo tak, aby byla zajištěna optimální kvalita vnitřního vzduchu. Třetí část je věnována prostorové akustice v jednotlivých místnostech části budovy s důrazem na zlepšení akustického komfortu pro různé činnosti a výukové místnosti.

The subject of the thesis is the design of a road bridge over a river. A suspended bridge was chosen from three variants. The calculation of internal forces was done in the SCIA Engineer program and the assessment was done by manual calculation, in the MS Excel program and in the IDEA Statica program. The construction was assessed for the limit state of bearing capacity and usability. The calculation was made according to valid standards.standards. Predmetom diplomovej práce je návrh cestného mostu cez rieku. Z troch variant bol zvolený zavesený most. Výpočet vnútorných síl bol urobený v programe SCIA Engineer a posúdenie v ručným výpočtom, v programe MS Excel a v programe IDEA Statica. Konštrukcia bola posúdená na medzný stav únosnosti a použitelnosti. Výpočet bol spravený podľa platných noriem.

Office building with cafe

The aim of the Master‘s thesis is to design a detached near-zero energy office building with a café. The building is designed as three-storey detached building with the café on the first floor, offices on the first and second floor and the third floor contains building services. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part consists of architectural and structural designs. The building has foundations combining foundation pads, strips, and a foundation slab under a reinforced concrete core. The superstructure is designed as a reinforced concrete frame with ceramic infill walls and ventilated facade. The floor and warm flat roof structure is designed by using prestressed hollow core panels. The second part focuses on the design of building services and energy efficiency assessment. Heat for space and domestic hot water heating will be provided by air-water heat pumps which would also provide cooling in summer. The building will have mechanical ventilation. The electricity demand will be partially covered by a photovoltaic system. The photovoltaic panels will be placed on the roof. The artificial lightning will be used in the building. The rainwater drained from the roof through roof drains will be directed into a storage tank and reused for flushing toilets. If there is an excess, the water will be diverted via an overflow to a seepage polder on the plot. The third part of the Master's thesis involves a thermal assessment of selected structural focused on thermal bridges. Structural focused is dealing with the anchoring of structures into the building envelope provided by thermal insulation assembly blocks at the anchor points to brake thermal bridges. Calculation of the linear thermal transmittance has verified that thermal bridges do not occur in selected critical points. The calculation of the linear heat transfer coefficient involves two calculation methods, which are compared on the basis of the results in terms of practical application. The used software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Deksoft, BuildingDesign. Cílem diplomové práce je návrh novostavby administrativní budovy s kavárnou s téměř nulovou spotřebou energie. Objekt je navržen jako třípodlažní, samostatně stojící. V prvním podlaží se nachází kavárna, v části prvního a v druhém podlaží je umístěna administrativní část, třetí podlaží slouží převážně jako technické podlaží. Diplomová práce je rozčleněna do 3 částí. První částí je dokumentace pro stavební povolení. Spodní stavba se skládá z kombinace základových patek propojených základovými pasy a základové desky pod ztužujícím železobetonovým jádrem. Nosný systém budovy je navržen jako železobetonový skelet s keramickými výplňovými stěnami a provětrávanou fasádou. Stropní konstrukce tvoří předpjaté dutinové panely. Střešní konstrukce je plochá, jednoplášťová. Druhá část je zaměřena na techniku prostředí staveb a posouzení energetické náročnosti budovy. Zdrojem tepla budou tepelná čerpadla vzduch - voda. Tepelná čerpadla budou navržena k vytápění objektu v zimním období, pro chlazení v letním období a k ohřevu teplé vody. Výměna vzduchu bude zajištěna nuceným větráním. Potřeba elektrické energie bude částečně pokryta fotovoltaickým systémem. Fotovoltaické panely budou umístěny na střeše. V budově bude využito umělého denního osvětlení. Dešťová voda, odváděná ze střechy střešními vtoky, bude svedena do akumulační nádrže a zpětně využívána pro splachování WC. Pokud dojde k přebytku, bude voda odvedena přepadem do vsakovacího poldru na pozemku. Třetí část diplomové práce zahrnuje tepelně-technické posouzení vybraných technických detailů zaměřené na tepelné mosty. U technických detailů je řešeno především kotvení konstrukcí do obvodového pláště za pomocí tepelněizolačních montážních bloků s cílem přerušení tepelných mostů. Výpočtem lineárního činitele prostupu tepla je ověřeno, zda ve vybraných kritických místech nedochází ke vzniku tepelných mostů. Výpočet lineárního činitele prostupu tepla zahrnuje dva způsoby výpočtu, které jsou na základě výsledků porovnány z hlediska využití v samotné praxi. Software použitý ke zpracování práce: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Deksoft, BuildingDesign.

The master thesis focuses on the design of expanding urban infrastructure through a newly conceptualized double-track tramway in the Židenice area. The proposed route extends from Bubeníčkova Street through Gajdošova to Táborská Street, emphasizing an efficient connection to the existing tramway network in both directions. The study also includes the revitalization of Gajdošova Street. Special attention is given to the optimal placement of barrier-free tram stops with tactile enhancements. Diplomová práce se věnuje návrhu rozšíření městské infrastruktury prostřednictvím nově koncipované dvoukolejné tramvajové trati v lokalitě Židenice. Navržená trasa vede od ulice Bubeníčkova přes Gajdošovu až k Táborské ulici, s důrazem na efektivní napojení na stávající tramvajovou síť směrem do obou trasových směrů. Součástí této práce je také revitalizace prostoru ulice Gajdošovy. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována optimálnímu umístění bezbariérových tramvajových zastávek s hmatovými úpravami.

The price of the construction work from the point of view of the investor and the supplier

The thesis deals with the comparison of the real costs associated with civil construction from the perspective of the contractor and the investor on a specific construction site and also analyses the cost method that the contractor operates in practice. For the purpose of comparison and subsequent analysis, an itemized budget for the construction under consideration is created. In the introduction of the theoretical part, pricing methods and basic concepts in the construction industry are described. The remainder of the paper is devoted to a description of budgeting, the composition of the itemized budget and the calculation of budget costs. At the beginning of the practical part, the apartment building is presented from a structural and technical point of view. Then, attention is paid to the contractor's cost method of pricing and the allocation of real costs incurred for the construction work. This is followed by an evaluation of the interrelationships of the solved variables, where the real costs are compared with the costs of the itemized budget. Finally, the advantages and disadvantages of the cost method of pricing from the perspective of the contractor and the investor, as well as from the perspective of the bid price on the construction market are discussed. Diplomová práce se zabývá porovnáním reálných nákladů spojených s občanskou výstavbou z pohledu dodavatele a investora na konkrétní stavbě a zároveň analyzuje nákladovou metodu, kterou dodavatel provozuje v praxi. Pro účely porovnávání a následné analýzy je vytvořen položkový rozpočet na řešenou stavbu. V úvodu teoretické části jsou popsány metody tvorby ceny a základní pojmy ve stavebnictví. Zbylá část se věnuje popisu rozpočtování, skladbě položkového rozpočtu a kalkulaci rozpočtových nákladů. Na začátku praktické části je představen bytový dům z konstrukčně technického hlediska. Poté je pozornost věnována nákladové metodě tvorby ceny dodavatele a rozdělení reálných nákladů, vynaložených na stavební dílo. Následuje vyhodnocení vzájemných vztahů řešených veličin, kde jsou porovnávány reálné náklady s náklady položkového rozpočtu. V závěru jsou pospány výhody a nevýhody nákladové metody tvorby ceny jak z pohledu dodavatele a investora, tak i z pohledu nabídkové ceny na stavebním trhu.

The subject of this diploma‘s thesis is documentation for the construction of the new kindergarten in Vsetín. It is a two-storey partial basement building with an elevator. There are three classes devided by age, for children aged three, for children aged four and for children aged five-six. The class for the youngest children is in the lowest floor. There i also a kitchen, a dinning room and staff facilities. The classes for older children are in the highest floor. The second kitchen and the second dining room are also located here, as well as the director’s office, speech therapy and a classroom for teaching English. The outdoor playground is designed as cascade and is accesible from all classes. To the new building belongs two parking lots. One with eleven classic parking spaces and one parking space for people with impaired ability to orientate and move, intended primarly for parents of children. There is also parking space for bicycles. Second with four classic parking spaces intended for staff. The technical facilities are located in underground floor. We can find here utility room, an air conditioning engine room, photovoltaics engine room, bedding warehouse connected to a laundry and cleaning room. The new kindergarten is based on reinforced concrete foundation slab. The vertical load-bearing structures of the underground and above-ground external part of the building are made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete wall. Internal walls are made of bricks. The floor structures in the whole building consists of prestressed concrete panels. The roof of the building is a warm flat green roof. The ventilated facade of the building is made of bond S-Z type facade panels. Předmětem této diplomové práce je vypracování dokumentace pro provedení novostavby mateřské školy ve Vsetíně. Jedná se o dvoupodlažní částečně podsklepený objekt s výtahem. V mateřské škole se nachází tři třídy rozděleny dle věku, pro děti ve věku tří let, pro děti ve věku čtyř let a pro děti ve věku pět-šest let. Třída pro nejmenší děti se nachází v nejnižším podlaží. Dále zde najdeme kuchyň, jídelnu a zázemí pro pracovníky školky. Třídy pro starší děti se nachází v nejvyšším patře. Zde je umístěna taktéž kuchyň a jídelna, dále ředitelna, logopedie a třída pro výuku angličtiny. Venkovní hřiště je řešeno jako kaskádové a je na něj umožněn přístup ze všech tříd. K novostavbě náleží dvě parkoviště. Jedno s jedenácti klasickými parkovacími stáními a jedním stáním pro osoby se sníženou schopností orientace a pohybu, určeno primárně pro rodiče dětí. Také zde najdeme místo vyhrazené pro kola. Druhé se čtyřmi klasickými parkovacími stáními pro zaměstnance. V podzemním podlaží se nachází technické zázemí novostavby. Najdeme zde technickou místnost, strojovnu vzduchotechniky, strojovnu fotovoltaiky, sklad lůžkovin spojený s prádelnou a úklidovou místnost. Novostavba mateřské školy je založena na železobetonové desce. Svislé obvodové konstrukce podzemní i nadzemní části objektu tvoří monolitická železobetonová stěna. Vnitřní nosné stěny jsou zděné. Stropní konstrukce v celém objektu tvoří předpjaté stropní panely. Zastřešením objektu je jednoplášťová plochá zelená střecha. Provětrávaná fasáda objektu je z bondových kazet typu S-Z.

The subject of the diploma thesis is the elaboration of the construction and technological project for the new Integrované výjezdové centrum Český Těšín. In the proposed area, there will be the Fire and Rescue Service of the Moravian-Silesian Region – branch Český Těšín, Municipal Police Český Těšín, and the Police of the Czech Republic – district department and department of criminal police service and investigation. The diploma thesis is exclusively focused on the Fire and Rescue Service facility. The content of this thesis includes a technical report, a coordination situation of the construction with broader relations of traffic routes, a time and financial plan – object-oriented, a study of the implementation of the main technological stages of the construction object, a project of the construction site along with a calculation of construction site equipment costs, a proposal for the main construction machines and mechanisms, a time schedule, a plan for ensuring material resources for the rough construction, a technological specification for monolithic ceiling structures along with a drawing of ceiling formwork, a control and testing plan, and a budget for the completed building SO 01. Předmětem diplomové práce je zpracování stavebně technologického projektu novostavby Integrované výjezdové centrum Český Těšín. V navrhovaném areálu bude Hasičský záchranný sbor Moravskoslezského kraje – pobočka Český Těšín, Městská policie Český Těšín a Policie České republiky – obvodní oddělení a oddělení služby kriminální policie a vyšetřování. Diplomová práce je zaměřena výhradně na objekt Hasičského záchranného sboru.
