Předmětem diplomové práce "Od Dítěte v pravý čas k Pokání: Důležitost krize v dílech Iana McEwana" je identifikace a následná analýza výše zmíněné problematiky. Práce se zaměřuje na šest novel spadajících do daného úseku, tzn. Dítě v pravý čas, Nevinný, Černí psi, Nezničitelná láska, Amsterdam a Pokání. V teoretické části je Ian McEwan představen a zařazen do kontextu britské literatury. Práce toho spisovatele jsou příležitostně ovlivněny postmoderním uvažováním, z toho důvodu je krátce nastíněn i koncept postmodernismu. McEwanova tvorba ze sledovaného období je také pevně zakořeněna v jeho literárních počátcích, proto je v práci zahrnuto i krátké představení jeho dřívějších děl. Následující, praktická část zkoumá koncept krize v díle Iana McEwana a na příkladech vybraných děl rozebírá jednotlivá témata. The diploma thesis "From Child In Time to Atonement: The importance of crisis in Ian McEwan's works" aims to identify and subsequently analyse the issue of crisis in the selected works of Ian McEwan. The thesis focuses on six novels: The Child In Time, The Innocent, Black Dogs, Enduring Love, Amsterdam and Atonement. In the theoretical part, Ian McEwan is introduced in the context of British literature. Since Ian McEwan's work is on occasion influenced by postmodern thinking, the concept of postmodernism is characterized in brief. As Ian McEwan's later fiction is influenced immensely by his literary beginnings, his early fiction is introduced in order to provide a holistic view, a more complete picture. The following practical part examines the concept of crisis in Ian McEwan's work, using the author's selected works as references.

Pour résumer, il est possible de dire que les politiques et sources de financement mises en place ? travers l'Europe encouragent ? la mobilité des jeunes. l'Union européenne s'est en effet, ? partir des années 1980, dotée de stratégies telles que la stratégie Europe2020, portée par le processus de Bologne afin de répondre au mieux aux défis proposés par la mondialisation. Ces politiques ont su ?tre efficace grâce ? une transformation simultanée des syst?mes universitaires européens visant ? faciliter les échanges inter-universitaires. De plus, ces politiques ont pu s'appuyer sur des programmes tels qu'Erasmus+, lancé en 1987 sous le nom d'Erasmus et qui devint Erasmus+ en 2014 ou m?me sur des politiques spécifiques telles que la stratégie d'internationalisation des universités. Le programme Erasmus+ regroupe l'ensemble des actions menées dans le cadre de la stratégie européenne pour l'éducation et la formation et semble avoir des effets conséquents sur les personnes participants ? ce programme en leur permettant d'acquérir de nouvelles compétences, évoluant ainsi d'un point de vue personnel, académique et professionnel. Malgré le succ?s de la mobilité étudiante via Erasmus+, des probl?mes sont toujours ? régler dans le programme dans son ensemble tels que la manque de reconnaissance de la mobilité du personnel ou bien les financements alloués notamment dans le cadre de la mobilité étudiante. Pour conclure, on peut donc dire que l'Union européenne encourage grandement ? la mobilité des jeunes de par les moyen politiques et financiers mis en place et beaucoup de bonnes pratiques ont vu le jour au fil du temps. Néanmoins, des progr?s restent ? faire notamment concernant la mobilité du personnel et des apprentis ainsi que sur les financements alloués. To summarise the present master thesis, it can be said that the policies and the funding sources in Europe supports the youth mobility. Indeed, in order to face the challenges brought by the globalisation from 1980's the European Union decided to set policies such as the Bologna process or more recently the strategy Europe 2020 or the youth policy. These policies are efficient because of the simultaneous transformation of the university system in Europe and the creation of the Erasmus program in 1987 which become Erasmus+ in 2014 and the internationalisation strategy of the universities. The Erasmus+ program backs every European strategy for the education and the formation and seems to have significant effects on the participants and these effects seem to help the young people to be more able to face the current globalised world. Indeed, taking part to Erasmus+ allows students to do a mobility in the European country they want and during this period of time students acquire new skills and consequently evolve from a personal, academic and professional point of view. However, even if the European Union via the European commission managed to put one efficient program to respond the challenges it is facing some problems are remaining as the lack of recognition of the staff mobility or the fact that some students do not authorise them to take part to the program because of financial problems. That's why it can be said that the youth mobility is hugely supported by the European Union and each of its member states from a political as financial point of view and numerous good practices have been set to make the mobility process easier but significant progress remain to be done about the staff and trainee mobility as well as the financing helps to achieve definitely the European aims.

This thesis was focused on creating an advertising campaign for a company "Desired House", which produces wood. The company "Desired House" is one of the largest companies in the Altai woodworking industry engaged in harvesting and processing wood. Since 2009, one of the company's strategic directions has been the development of the wooden house building industry in the region. To this end, within the framework of the company, a project aimed at creating a complex of house-building production and production facilities with in-depth processing of wood was developed and implemented to produce a series of spacious, eco-friendly, affordable wooden houses and all the necessary components for them. However, their marketing activities did not allow it to prosper in its full scope. In theoretical part I observe the development of marketing concept as a whole and theoretical basis of online marketing in particular. The information was primarily derived from the books and online resources. The important part was the researching part of online advertising and its measurement. In the practical part, primary source of data is internal to the company observed. The tools of Yandex.Metric was used to measure and plan advertising activities. SWOT analysis was performed to assess company's abilities and areas in order to develop. In the last part, an advertising campaign was carried out based on recommendations. The website was renovated. Jako téma své diplomové práce jsem si vybrala "Obraz Italů a Itálie v dílech E. M. Forstera a Henryho Jamese," protože mám velmi blízký vztah k Itálii a protože mi přijde zajímavé porovnat, v čem se liší a v čem shoduje zobrazení Itálie a jejích obyvatel u těchto autorů. V úvodu své práce popisuji, jakou roli sehrála Itálie v průběhu historie, jaký byl její význam a jak ovlivnila ty, kteří se do ní vydali. Vysvětluji důležitou úlohu Itálie během "cesty za zdokonalením," která byla součástí vzdělání mladých anglických mužů především v 18. století a která se nazývala "kavalírská cesta," a také poukazuji na to, že různá italská města byla vnímána rozdílně. Důležitou roli přitom sehrály předsudky a stereotypy, jak také v úvodu své práce zmiňuji. Dále vysvětluji, proč autoři včetně Forstera a Jamese zasazovali děj svých děl do Itálie. Představuji jednotlivá Forsterova a Jamesova díla s touto tematikou a shrnuji nejdůležitější aspekty jejich užití italského prostředí a postav. Srovnání reprezentace Itálie a Italů v dílech těchto autorů je cílem mé práce. Ve své práci se nejprve věnuji vztahu E. M. Forstera k Itálii a jeho dílům s italskou tematikou. Zaměřuji se na role a funkce Itálie a na italské postavy v těchto dílech, přičemž tyto sledované jevy následně porovnávám. Stejný postup volím posléze u H. Jamese, u něhož rovněž nejdříve popisuji jeho postoj k Itálii a poté jeho díla, jejichž děj je zasazený do Itálie nebo v nichž jsou italské postavy. Tato díla srovnávám opět se zřetelem na autorovo zachycení Itálie a jejích obyvatel. V další části své práce porovnávám zmíněnou tvorbu obou autorů. Zaměřuji se přitom na zasazení děje do Itálie a na zobrazení umění, dále na roli Itálie v dílech obou autorů, na podobnosti a rozdíly italských postav, na kulturní předsudky, stereotypy a xenofobii v dílech a také popisuji, do jaké míry se E. M. Forster nechal inspirovat tvorbou H. Jamese, přičemž čerpám z Forsterova kritického díla Aspekty románu a informace konfrontuji s některými kritickými texty jiných autorů, jako například s článkem Kevina J. H. Dettmara a recenzí Edmunda Whitea. V závěru své práce analyzuji filmové adaptace Forsterových a Jamesových děl s italskou tematikou a porovnávám je s předlohami, podle nichž byly natočeny. Všímám si přitom podobností a rozdílů v zachycení Italů a Itálie. For my diploma thesis, I decided to choose "The Image of Italy and Italians in the Works by E. M. Forster and Henry James." I selected this topic because my attitude towards Italy is very positive and also because it seems to me interesting to compare in what way the depiction of Italy and its inhabitants is different and in what way similar at these authors. In the introductory part of my thesis, I describe the role of Italy in the course of history. I mention the significance of this country and also its influence on people who visited it. I explain the important function of Italy during the "travel for improvement" that was a part of young English men´s education first of all in 18th century and that was called the "Grand Tour." I also point out the fact that various Italian towns were perceived in a different way. Prejudices and stereotypes played an important role in the perception of Italy, which I mention at the beginning of my thesis as well. Later on, I explain why the authors including Forster and James set the plots of their works in Italy. I present particular Forster´s and James´s works on this topic and I summarize the most important aspects of their use of Italian setting and characters. The comparison of the representation of Italy and Italians in the works of these authors is the goal of my thesis. At first, I deal in my thesis with E. M. Forster´s relation to Italy and with his works on the Italian topic. I focus on the roles and functions of Italy and on the Italian characters in these works that I subsequently compare. I use the same process at H. James. I similarly describe at first his attitude towards Italy and after that his works, the plot of which is situated in Italy or in which there are some Italian characters. I compare these works once again with the focus on author´s depiction of Italy and its inhabitants. In next part of my thesis, I compare the mentioned works of both authors. I pay attention to the Italian setting and to the presented art, then to the role of Italy in both authors´ works, to similarities and differences of Italian characters, to cultural prejudices, stereotypes and xenophobia in the works, and I also describe to what extent E. M. Forster was inspired by H. James´s works, during which I draw on Forster´s critical work Aspects of the Novel. I confront the information with some critical texts of other authors, as for example with an article by Kevin J. H. Dettmar and a review by Edmund White. At the end of my thesis I analyse film adaptations of Forster´s and James´s works with the Italian topic and I put them in contrast with the original sources, on the grounds of which they were made. I observe during these analyses the similarities and differences in the depiction of Italians and Italy.

Lexical Collocation Errors in English Produced by Czech Learners of English

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na kolokace, tj. opakovaně se vyskytující kombinace slov. Hlavní důraz je položen na lexikálních kolokacích, které jsou vytvářeny českými studenty anglického jazyka chybně. Teoretická část se zakládá na popisu kolokací jako lexikálního jevu a klasifikací kolokací. V teoretické části je také stručně zmíněn přístup k problematice výuky kolokací ve školách. V praktické části je zkoumáno 200 kolokací nasbíraných z esejí studentů anglického jazyka. Vzorky jsou analyzovány a popsány vzhledem k typu restrikce, semantické transparence a slovního druhu. U chybně utvořených kolokací je zmíněna možná příčina nesprávného vytvoření dané kolokace a je uvedena správná kombinace nebo nejpodobnější ekvivalent. Výsledky jsou prezentovány v tabulkách. This diploma thesis is focused on collocations, i.e. repeatedly occurring combinations of lexical items. Main emphasis is put on lexical collocations produced incorrectly by Czech learners of English. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with various definitions describing this lexical phenomenon and with classification of collocations. A brief mention of the attitude to teaching collocations at schools is made, too. In the practical part, 200 collocations gathered from essays written by L2 learners of Czech secondary grammar schools are analysed as for a type of a restriction, semantic transparency and a part of speech. With erroneously produced collocation, an attempt to explain the cause leading to error is made and the correct combination or its closest equivalent is adduced. The results are presented in tables.

Cílem diplomové práce je analýza tématu zločinu, násilí a brutality ve vybraných románech současného britského prozaika Iana McEwana. Práce si klade za cíl vymezit motivický vývoj těchto základních témat a nastínit morální otázky viny a trestu na základě analýzy McEwanova románu Solar. Úkolem práce je reflexe společenské problematiky 21. století včetně základních morálních otázek doby v souvislosti s profesním a kariérním růstem v podání McEwanových hrdinů. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the topics of crime, violence and brutality in four novels written by a contemporary British novelist Ian McEwan. The aim of the thesis is also to define the motivational development of these topics and moral questions of guilt and punishment based on the analysis of Ian McEwan's novel Solar. The goal is to reflect problems of the society of the 21st century including the basic moral questions connected with the professional life and career of McEwan's characters.

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá zobrazením dětských hrdinů v anglické a americké literatuře, v tvorbě Charlese Dickense a Marka Twaina. Vybraná díla jsou Oliver Twist, David Copperfield, Dobrodružství Toma Sawyera a Huckleberryho Finna. Jejich osudy jsou analyzovány v tématech dětské práce a chudoby, rasismu, náboženství, vzdělávání a výchově a v zobrazení světa dětským pohledem v kontrastu s pohledem dospělých postav. Závěrečná kapitola je věnována analýze humoru v dílech těchto autorů. Důraz je tedy kladen na sociální aspekt Dickensovy a Twainovy tvorby. Cílem práce je vystihnout zobrazení těchto dětských hrdinů a jejich jednání v literatuře 19. století, a reflektovat tak i život obou autorů. This diploma thesis deals with the portrayal of child heroes in English and American literature, in works of Charles Dickens and Mark Twain. The chosen novels are Oliver Twist, David Copperfield, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. These novels are analysed in the themes of child labour and poverty, racism, religion, the view of the world by children in contrast to the adult perspective, upbringing and education. The last chapter deals with the humour of both novelists. Thus the emphasis is put on the social aspect of the literary output of Dickens and Twain. The main aim of the thesis is to depict these child heroes and their acting in the literature of the 19th century, and to reflect the life experience of both authors.
