2014 - German Figurative language is an important means of rhetoric that is used in all forms and types of texts (from journalistic texts to elements of user interfaces). The primary purpose of this bachelor thesis is to determine how figurative speech in general may affect and how it does affect the individual and the society as a whole, based on journalistic text examples covering the Czech Republic´s presidential elections in prestigious German online media. The definition of figurative speech will be developed. The role of figurative language in our everyday lives, politics and learning process will be described. Figurativní jazyk je důležitým prostředkem rétoriky, jenž je používán ve všech formách a variantách textů (od textů publicistických až po prvky uživatelských rozhraní). Bakalářská práce ukáže na vybraných žurnalistických příkladech s tematikou české prezidentské volby v renomovaných německých online-médiích, jak figurativní řeč všeobecně může působit a působí na jedince a společnost. Teoreticky bude rozvinuta definice figurativního jazyka a budou taktéž popsány jeho role v našem každodenním životě, v procesu učení a v neposlední řadě v politice. 2014 - German This work aims to compare the literary piece "Die Wand" written by Marlen Haushofer and the following film adaptation of the book created by Julian Pölsler. The theme of the work is to find out how much the film adaptation matches its literary model and how much the film as a medium converts the literary technique to the visual form. The main attention is paid to the description of the book and the film and the following summary of the differences between the book and the adaptation. The work deals not only with the analysis of the literary piece converted to the film form by Julian Pölsler, but also briefly with the meaning of the terms "intermedialität" and "anti-heimatliteratur". Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřená na porovnání literárního díla "Die Wand" od Marlen Haushofer a následného převedení knihy na filmové plátno režisérem Julianem Pölslerem. Cílem práce je zjištění, do jaké míry je filmová adaptace knihy identická s literární předlohou a do jaké míry film jako médium převádí literární postup do vizuální podoby. Hlavním těžištěm je popis knihy a filmu a následné shrnutí rozdílů mezi předlohou a jejím filmovým zpracováním. Práce se nezabývá pouze rozborem literárního díla, které Julian Pölsler převedl do filmové podoby, ale přiblíží také význam termínů Intermedialita a Anti-Heimatliteratur. 2014 - German The grammatical gender variants of German substantives. A case study using the examples of Python, Samba, Rodel and Paprika corroborated by corpus. This bachelor's thesis deals with the newest trends in developments of morphological system of German nouns. The analysis of variation in gender of the nouns will be accomplished in four examples of nouns Python, Samba, Rodel and Paprika. Above all, the thesis will be focused on semantic and regional distribution of this variation. I have used the corpus DeReKo and its tools (COSMAS II) during writing the thesis. In the theoretical part I further outline the benefits of methods in corpus linguistics for the research of contemporary language. In the practical part I made a corpus analysis of the nouns mentioned above. Rodová variace německých substantiv. Případová korpusová studie provedena na příkladu slov Python, Samba, Rodel a Paprika. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá nejnovějšími tendencemi ve vývoji morfologického systému německých substantiv. Na příkladu čtyř substantiv Python, Samba, Rodel a Paprika bude provedena analýza kolísání rodu těchto substantiv, přičemž bude pozornost soustředěna především na sémantickou a diatopickou distribuci tohoto kolísání. Pro práci byl využit korpus DeReKo a jeho nástroje (COSMAS II). V teoretické části práce bude nastíněn přínos metod korpusové lingvistiky pro výzkum současného jazyka. 2015 - German In dieser Arbeit widme ich mich Wenzel Jaksch, einer der bedeutenden, aber vergessenen regionalen Persönlichkeiten des 20. Jahrhunderts. Das Ziel dieser Arbeit ist die Entwicklung seiner politischen Linie zu schildern. Der Schwerpunkt dieser Arbeit liegt in der Beschreibung der wichtigsten Wendepunkte in seiner Karriere und der Abgrenzung seiner Politik gegenüber den politischen Akteuren, die eine wichtige historische Rolle spielten und gleichzeitig in eine Auseinandersetzung mit der Politik von Wenzel Jaksch traten. Ein wichtiger Bestandteil dieser Arbeit ist die Schilderung der Ereignisse vom Londoner Exil und die Begründung des Misserfolges von Wenzel Jaksch in seinen Verhandlungen mit Edvard Beneš vor dem Hintergrund Jakschs politischer Konzeption. Jakschs inneres politisches Programm, das sich schon zu einer Zeit gestaltete, als sein Autor auf der Startlinie seiner politischen Karriere stand, war nicht zeitgemäß. Vor dem Hintergrund der historischen Ereignisse versuche ich, das demokratische Programm dieses Politikers zu schildern, welches in gewissem Maße die moderne Sozialdemokratie mitgestaltet und bis heute nichts von seiner Aktualität eingebüßt hat. V této práci se zaměřuji na osobnost Wenzela Jaksche, jednu z významných, leč zapomenutých regionálních osobností 20. století. Cílem této práce je zmapovat vývoj jeho politické linie. Především se v této práci zaměřuji na zlomové body v jeho kariéře a vymezení jeho politiky vůči politickým aktérům, kteří hráli významnou historickou roli a současně se střetávali s politikou Wenzela Jaksche. Důležitou součástí této práce je vylíčení událostí londýnského exilu a zdůvodnění Jakschova neúspěchu v jednání s Edvardem Benešem na pozadí Jakschovy politické koncepce. Jakschův vnitřní politický program, který se formoval již v době, kdy jeho autor stál na startovní čáře své politické kariéry, nebyl přiměřený době svého vzniku. Na pozadí historických událostí se pokouším vylíčit tento nadčasový a demokratický politický program tohoto politika, který do jisté míry utvářel moderní sociální demokracii. ENTWICKLUNG DER DEUTSCHEN IN DER KARLSBADER REGION

2015 - German My bachelor thesis deals with the development of Germans living in the region of Karlovy Vary. The following thesis is divided into four main chapters that process the development from the first settlement till the expulsion. The first aim of this bachelor thesis are to describe the particular periods the Germans spent on the territory which now belongs to the Czech Republic. The other aim is to specify particular relations during this period. The first really important populating took place in the 12th and 13th century. Since then the Germans kept settling in the region of Karlovy Vary. Till the beginning of the 19th century Czechs and Germans lived peacefully as neighbors. Approximately in the middle of the 19th century the question of nationality and establishing a new state started showing up. In the 1920s the Sudeten Germans and the Czech Republic totally mentally split up. In 1939 the Second World War started and the consequences of its end led to the expulsion of the Sudeten Germans from the Czech Republic. This time period is supplemented by six interviews with Sudeten Germans form the Karlovy Vary region which helps to understand the stories of the Germans. Práce se zabývá vývojem Němců v Karlovarském regionu. Tato bakalářská práce je rozdělena do čtyř hlavních kapitol, které se zabývají vývojem od prvního osídlení až po odsun. Cíle této bakalářské práce jsou přiblížení jednotlivých časových období, které Němci strávili na území dnešní České Republiky a upřesnění jednotlivých spojitostí během tohoto období. První opravdu důležité osídlení proběhlo ve 12. a 13. století. Od této doby se Němci v Karlovarském regionu dále více usazovali. V průběhu doby žili Němci a Češi v sousedství, ale od poloviny 19. století se začala čím dál tím častěji objevovat národnostní otázka a nápad jednoho samostatného státu. Ve 20. letech 20. století došlo k úplnému mentálnímu oddělení sudetských Němců od České republiky. V roce 1939 začala II. Světová válka, jejíž konec v roce 1945 vyústil v odsun sudetských Němců z republiky. Tato doba je doplněna šesti rozhovory, které byly vedeny se šesti sudetskými Němci z Karlovarského regionu, čímž jsou osudy sudetských Němců více přiblíženy. 2015 - German This thesis is divided into two parts a theoretical and a practical one. The main topics of the thesis are the most common grammar mistakes of Czech pupils who learn German as a foreign language. The theoretical part explains terms such as mistake, error or contrastive linguistics, categorizes the errors and presents the reasons for those errors. The main part consists of a corpus analysis of texts written by Czech learners. Their errors are analysed, compared and explained. Graphics show the development of those errors in different learning process stages. Last but not least a questionnaire to explore the teachers' awareness of those errors and their correction will be provided. Bakalářská práce, která je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část, se zabývá nejčastějšími morfosyntaktickými chybami českých mluvčích v německy psaném textu. Teoretická část vysvětluje hlavní pojmy, jako je chyba nebo kontrastivní lingvistika, kategorizuje chyby a uvádí příčiny vzniku chyb. Stěžejní část práce však tvoří korpusová analýza textů napsané českými žáky. Jejich chyby jsou zde analyzovány, srovnávány mezi sebou a hlavně se práce snaží uvést příčiny daných chyb. Grafy ukazují vývoj chyb v jednotlivých stádiích učení se němčiny. Poslední částí je malý dotazník, který zkoumá povědomí učitelů o častých chybách a jejich korektuře. 2016 - German This bachelor thesis deals with the topic "Faux amis in German and in English". This thesis is primarily focused on the semantic faux amis which could pupils in the Czech Republic meet with. The theoretical part defines the basic terminology related to so called false friends. Furthermore, the theoretical part clarifies the formation and classification of faux amis. The practical part contains the gathered semantic faux amis which are classified in the reference levels according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The lists of faux amis of individual levels are in the practical part further analysed. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem "Faux amis v německém a anglickém jazyce". Práce je zaměřena především na sémantické faux amis, se kterými se žáci a studenti v České republice mohou setkat. V teoretické části je objasněna základní terminologie související s tzv. "falešnými přáteli". Dále je popsán vznik a klasifikace faux amis. V praktické části jsou shromážděny příklady sémantických faux amis, které jsou rozděleny do referenčních úrovní podle Společného evropského referenčního rámce (SERR). Seznamy faux amis, rozdělené podle úrovní, jsou v praktické části ještě dále analyzovány. Tourismus und Werbung. Ein Vergleich unterschiedlicher Strategien in Südböhmen und Oberösterreich

2008 - German Annotation: This work attends to two neighbouring regions {--} South Bohemia and Upper Austria {--} especially in light of tourist trade. It compares both regions as for their area, number of inhabitants, economical structure, tourist visit rate during passed years and their potential for development of tourism. Another part of the text contains a short list of the most interesting and of the most visited tourist targets of South Bohemia and Upper Austria. The second part of this work devotes to the latest trends in tourism, further to management and marketing of a tourist destination. There was as well the marketing-mix applied for tourist trade and main forms of promotion in tourism mentioned. The closing of my work contains an analysis of weaknesses and strong points ob both regions and brings suggestions moves for improvement of the present state {--} especially in the field of internet-presentation. One of the other improvement suggestions is for example creation of new tourist products or support of the cooperation between both regions. These suggestions are described in the last two separate subchapters. Anotace: Tato práce se věnuje dvěma sousedním regionům {--} jižním Čechám a Hornímu Rakousku {--} a to zejména z pohledu cestovního ruchu. Porovnává oba regiony z hlediska rozlohy, počtu obyvatelstva, struktury hospodářství, turistické návštěvnosti v minulých letech a jejich potenciálu pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu. Součástí textu je také stručný seznam nejzajímavějších a nejnavštěvovanějších turistických cílů jižních Čech a Horního Rakouska. Druhá část této práce se věnuje nejnovějším trendům v cestovním ruchu, dále pak managementu a marketingu turistické destinace. Zmíněn je také marketingový mix aplikovaný pro oblast turismu a hlavní formy propagace v turismu. Závěr textu obsahuje analýzu slabých a silných stránek obou regionů a návrhy opatření na zlepšení současného stavu, zejména v oblasti internetové propagace. Jedním z dalších návrhů je vytváření nových produktů cestovního ruchu a podpora přeshraniční spolupráce, čemuž se věnují dvě samostatné podkapitoly. The first chapter describes the political and economic importance of Germany from several points of view like its infrastructure, economy and foreign policy. The next chapters are concentrated on the rolle of Germany in political and economic organisations ( EU, UN, WTO, OECD, G-8 ) and they try to short explain how these organisations are set up, how they make decisions and their contribution to the wealth worlwide. The last chapter brings near German military operations and humanitarian aid. This chapter also demonstrates that military engagement is for the Germans still a controversial and interesting subject. Tato práce by měla ukázat Německo jako jeden z nejvýznamnějších států světa. První kapitola popisuje politický a ekonomický význam Německa z několika úhlů pohledu jako jsou jeho infrastruktura, ekonomika a zahraniční politika. Následující kapitoly se soustředí na roli Německa v politických a ekonomických organizacích ( EU, OSN, WTO, OECD, G-8 ) a pokoušejí se krátce vysvětlit, jak jsou tyto organizace strukturovány, jak vytváří rozhodnutí a jejich přínos k celosvětovému blahobytu. Poslední kapitola přibližuje německé vojenské operace a humanitární pomoc. Tato kapitola také ukazuje, že vojenské zásahy jsou pro Němce stále kontroverzním a zajímavým tématem.
