2007 - English In my thesis which is on the theme {\clqq} Insurance in the section of tourist trade`` I compare individual kinds of insurance in tourist trade in the Czech Republic and in European Union. Tourist Trade Insurance is a service providing the security against the accidental (unpredictable) affairs for the travel clients. The insurance guarantees to client the right for the payment a sum of money related with the refund of costs incured by an accidental affair. For an accidental affair is considered every affair, which is reasonably presumed to happen, but in the time of insuring procedure the clients don´t know when it happens and if it really happens. Travel Insurance is an insepareble part of travelling abroad. The principle matter of Travel insurance is the refund of medical costs, in the case, when you got ill or injured in foreign country. The Health Insurane Office uses the insurance for repaying the costs for medical treatment, hospitalization, meidicine, unavoidable transportation etc. The insurance can be settled for optional time from one day till on year. V mé diplomové práci na téma {\clqq} Pojištění v oblasti cestovního ruchu`` se zabývám porovnáním jednotlivých druhů pojištění v cestovním ruchu v České republice a v Evropské unii. Pojištění v cestovním ruchu je služba, která má účastníky v cestovním ruchu zabezpečit před nahodilými (nepředvídanými) událostmi. Pojištěním se zajišťuje právo účastníka na výplatu peněžních prostředků souvisejících s úhradou výdajů, které mu z nahodilé události vznikly. Za nahodilou událost se považuje každá událost, o které účastníci pojištění důvodně předpokládají, že sice může nastat, ale v době vzniku pojištění nevědí, kdy se tak stane, případně, zda se tak vůbec stane. Základem cestovního pojištění je úhrada léčebných výloh v případě, že v zahraničí onemocníte nebo utrpíte úraz. Z tohoto pojištění za vás pojišťovna uhradí náklady za ošetření, hospitalizaci, léčení, výlohy na léky, nezbytné převozy apod. Pojistit se lze na libovolnou dobu od jednoho dne do jednoho roku. The prevalance survey of oak powdery mildew \kur{Erysiphe alphitoides} in Europe using molecular markers

2010 - English Annotation: Powdery mildew Erysiphe alphitoides is one of the most important pathogenic fungus infecting pedunculate oak Quercus robur in Europe. As the identification of this species with morphologic markers is unreliable, the molecular markers development is necessary. In this work, we developed primers for PCR amplification of cytochrome b gene fragment. The results show high level of intraspecific variability of this mitochondrial gene and revealed the indistinct taxonomy relations within E. alphitoides s. lat group. Identification and characterization of newly found antimicrobial peptide (IRAMP) from hard tick \kur{Ixodes ricinus}

2012 - English Antimicrobial proteins (AMPs) are effector molecules and an important part of the innate immune system. AMPs have a broad antimicrobial spectrum and lyse microbial cells by interaction with biomembranes. Besides direct impact in host defence, AMPs are mediators of inflammation with impact on epithelial and inflammatory cells influencing diverse processes such as cytokine release, cell proliferation, angiogenesis, wound healing, chemotaxis, immune induction, and protease-antiprotease balance. AMPs could replace antibiotics which efficiency has decreased due to extensive clinical use. Therefore knowledge of mechanism of action of antimicrobial peptides, their properties and possible usage is essential for their further use as therapeutics. Ticks are blood-feeding ectoparisites that serve as extremely effective vectors of pathogens. Analysis of the ticks molecules that are involved in immune response to the pathogens invasion represent one of the strategies in searching for new compounds that might be used in future as theurapeutic agents. This study represents analysis of newly identified antimicrobial peptide form in the hard tick Ixodes ricinus (IRAMP). IRAMP revealed the high similarity to the recently described antimicrobial peptide isolated from hard tick Ixodes scapularis (protein ISAMP). 2012 - English This diploma thesis confronts specific features of English language teaching in private language schools. The theoretical section of this study is concerned with the distinction between general purpose English (GPE) and English for specific purposes (ESP), types of courses, education and qualification structure of employees, management of this type of school, syllabi, and those who are responsible for making them. The practical section is focused on analysis of questionnaires and interviews I have conducted with the directors of private language schools. The research objective was to assess the specific factors affecting the process, quality control and English language instruction at this school. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na specifika výuky anglického jazyka v soukromých jazykových školách. Teoretická část zkoumá rozlišení angličtiny pro obecné (GPE) a specifické (ESP) účely, typy kurzů, kvalifikační strukturu a vzdělání zaměstnanců, management soukromých jazykových škol, sylaby a kdo je za ně zodpovědný. V praktické části se věnuji rozboru dotazníků a rozhovorů, které jsem vedl s řediteli soukromých jazykových škol. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit, jaké jsou specifické okolnosti ovlivňující průběh, kvalitu a řízení výuky angličtiny na tomto typu škol. Evolutionary origins of intracellular symbionts in arthropods

2012 - English Intracellular symbionts are widespread among arthropods, particularly within insects. Obligate symbiotic associations are known to have originated multiple times between the arthropods feeding on nutrient-poor diets and bacteria from various groups. However, exact phylogenetic positions and relationships among these symbiotic lineages are mostly unclear or vague. This thesis consists of an exemplary case study on the most symbiont-rich bacterial group, Enterobacteriaceae, already published in BMC Biology. It uses advanced phylogenetic tools and extended taxonomic sample to establish phylogenetic relationships among individual symbiotic lineages and their phylogenetic affinity to freeliving relatives. To provide it with broader background, the publication is accompanied by a review on general evolutionary forces influencing origin and maintenance of intracellular symbiosis in arthropods. Apart from overviewing the current known diversity of the symbiotic bacteria, it also points out specific drawbacks in inferring symbionts phylogeny and consequences that can phylogeny have on our understanding of intracellular symbiosis. 2010 - English This diploma thesis concentrates on typical pronunciation errors faced by intermediate Czech learners of English, specifically on word stress and reduction of unstressed syllables (weak forms). In order to analyse these aspects, a project was designed based on recording a sample of 33 first-year English language students at the Pedagogicka fakulta in Ceske Budejovice, and a survey was conducted on the learners? attitudes and experiences in pronunciation learning. Two types of speech were recorded (reading an unseen text and spontaneous oral expression) and subsequently analysed. As the Czech language has a different system of word stress and the reduced forms do not exist, it was presumed that interference will be detected from the mother tongue in the field of word stress and there will be prevalence of the strong forms of grammatical words. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá typickými chybami středně pokročilých českých studentů/studentek angličtiny, konkrétně slovním přízvukem a redukcí nepřízvučných slabik. Jako hlavní nástroj výzkumu byl autorkou práce navržen postup založený na nahrávání ústního projevu 33 studentek/studentů prvního ročníku oboru Anglický jazyk na Pedagogické fakultě v Českých Budějovicích a rovněž také dotazník, jehož úkolem bylo zjistit zkušenosti studujících a jejich postoj k výuce výslovnosti. Byly nahrávány dva typy ústního projevu: čtení neznámého textu a spontánní projev (konverzace). Jelikož český jazyk se od anglického liší v systému slovního přízvuku a nepřízvučné slabiky se v češtině neredukují, předpokládalo se, že bude identifikována interference z mateřského jazyka v oblasti slovního přízvuku a dále, že zkoumaný vzorek studentů bude upřednostňovat plné formy slabik před redukovanými.
