Geographical analysis of localisation of libraries in the South Bohemian region

2016 - Czech This bachelor's thesis deals with creating of the database of libraries in the South Bohemian region and with geographical analysis of them. The main aim of this thesis is to analyse libraries from a spatial and structural point of view. In the beginning, the topic is set into issues of cultural geography and services. Assessment of the employment rate in the cultural section including libraries according to the classification of economic activities CZ-NACE is also part of this thesis and this assessment is focused on the comparison of the South Bohemian region with other regions of the Czech Republic. The last part of this thesis includes an analysis of selected indicators assessing the significance of libraries (number of readers, size of library fund, etc.) in relation to specific social-demographic characteristics of population (education, age, sex) according to the municipalities in region, including an explanation of connections based mainly on the correlation analyses that were done. Mutual relations are assessed on the basis of the results of these analyses. Maps representing chosen "library" characteristics in a spatial relations are also important part of this thesis. Bakalářská práce se zabývá vytvořením databáze knihoven na území Jihočeského kraje a jejich geografickou analýzou. Jejím hlavním cílem je zkoumání knihoven z pohledu prostorového a strukturálního. V úvodu je téma zasazeno do problematiky geografie kultury a služeb. Dále je dle klasifikace ekonomických činností CZ-NACE v práci zhodnocena zaměstnanost v oblasti kultury včetně knihoven se zaměřením na porovnání Jihočeského kraje s ostatními kraji České republiky. Poslední fáze zahrnuje analýzu vybraných ukazatelů hodnocení významu knihoven (počet čtenářů, velikost knihovního fondu aj.) ve vztahu k vybraným sociálně-demografickým charakteristikám obyvatel (vzdělání, věk, pohlaví) podle obcí kraje, včetně explanace souvislostí, především na základě provedených korelačních analýz. Na bázi těchto analýz je posouzena vzájemná závislost. Důležitou součásti práce jsou také mapové výstupy, které prezentují vybrané "knihovnické" charakteristiky v prostorových souvislostech. Contributions of Geocaching as a tourism product in South Bohemia

2017 - Czech This bachelor thesis focuses on Geocaching which is a leisure activity, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS - enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache hidden at that location. In the theoretical part, specific terms concerning destination in tourism, modern technologies and Geocaching and its influence on tourism are explained. As the key point of the practical part was established the serie of five thematic caches RIO16 that symbolize the number of circles in the emblem of the Olympic Games and through which it was possible to track consumer behaviour of Geocaching players in tourism on this particular example. Based on the foundation of the serie was created questionnaire. At the end of the thesis the new tourism product called "Baroque Treasures of South Bohemia" is proposed based on the proven fact that Geocaching has positive impact on tourism. This is another thematic serie of caches created to raise awareness about the important Baroque monuments of South Bohemia. Based on the data analysed in this thesis, it is assumed that a new serie of caches will encourage attendance of Geocaching players who are willing to travel for caches, pay for the provided tourist attractions during the hunt and use tourism products of the South Bohemia. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá Geocachingem, který je volnočasovou aktivitou, při níž se hledají schránky prostřednictvím GPS. Účastníci se řídí konkrétními GPS souřadnicemi a pokoušejí se najít skryté schránky na daném místě. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. Na začátku teoretické části jsou vysvětleny specifické termíny týkající se destinace cestovního ruchu, moderních technologií a v neposlední řadě Geocachingu a jeho vlivu na cestovní ruch. Stěžejním bodem v praktické části bylo založení tematické série pěti keší RIO16, které symbolizují počet kruhů ve znaku olympijských her a jejímž prostřednictvím bylo možné sledovat spotřební chování hráčů Geocachingu v cestovním ruchu na tomto konkrétním příkladu. Na základě založení série byl vytvořen dotazník. Na základě prokázání pozitivního vlivu Geocachingu na cestovní ruch je v závěru práce navržen další nový produkt cestovního ruchu s názvem "Barokní poklady jižních Čech". Jedná se o další tematickou sérii keší, která má zvýšit povědomí o významných barokních památkách Jihočeského kraje. Na základě poznatků zkoumaných v této práci lze předpokládat, že nová série keší podpoří návštěvnost Jihočeského kraje o hráče Geocachingu, kteří jsou ochotni cestovat za kešemi, zaplatit za turistické atraktivity při odlovu a spotřebovávat produkty cestovního ruchu. Analysis of issues sledge hockey in Southern Bohemia

2013 - Czech In my work, based on the studying of technical literature, I have managed to gather the history and rules of sledge hockey, and outline the issues of sledge hockey in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes individual sport skills and methodology of the training. I have registered a yearly training cycle of the team SK České Budějovice and identified its imperfections. I have also proposed solutions in a model of twelve-week complex preparation of the sledge hockey players. This new training plan is going to be implemented by SKV Králové České Budějovice at the end of the sledge hockey season. In case of improvement I suppose following co-operation with this club. I would be glad if this work helped the South Bohemia club in its further activities. V mé práci se na základě studia odborné literatury podařilo shromáždit historii, pravidla sledge hokeje a nastínit problematiku sledge hokej v ČR. V teoretické části jsem popsal jednotlivé sportovní dovednosti a metodiku jejich nácviku. Zaznamenal jsem stávající roční tréninkový cyklus českobudějovického týmu SKV České Budějovice a zjistil jeho nedostatky. Navrhl jsem řešení v podobě modelu dvanáctitýdenní komplexní přípravy sledge hokejistů. Nový tréninkový plán bude realizován v závěru sledge hokejové sezóny při SKV Králové České Budějovice. V případě zlepšení předpokládám další spolupráci s českobudějovickým klubem. Byl bych rád, pokud tato práce pomůže jihočeskému klubu v jeho dalším působení. The technical terms, that must be understood for processing, are defined in the theoretical part. Analytical part examines the current visitors´ satisfaction and the current offer destination. Results and recommendations are discussed in the final part of the bachelor thesis. The aim is to propose measures that increases visitors´ satisfaction. Bakalářská práce se zabývá faktory, které pozitivně i negativně ovlivňují spokojenost návštěvníků Písecka. V teoretické části jsou definovány odborné termíny, které je potřeba pochopit pro zpracování. Analytická část zkoumá současnou spokojenost návštěvníků a současnou nabídku destinace. 2016 - Czech The subject matter of my bachelor thesis is Awareness of the South Bohemian Region of the use of cannabis. Work is interested in various themes related to cannabis in many ways, which is today more current than ever. The thesis refers to legislation at the begining , following chapters involve history, characteristics of cannabis as plants, the clinical use of plants, cannabis as a drug and finally the use of cannabis in different spheres, from the food to construction, textile or cosmetic industry. In the practical part four objectives have been set. The aim was to find out what is the opinion on the matter of hemp, how is awareness of cannabis and determine what experiences people have with cannabis and how they approach to marijuana as a drug. The work includes quantitative research, which is based on a method of interrogation. The questionnaire was compiled according to the research assumptions and published via the Internet so many people had access to it. Within a week I managed to reach the 185 respondents. Bachelor thesis can serve to enrich and completion of current information on issues relating to cannabis. Téma bakalářské práce je Informovanost obyvatel Jihočeského kraje o možnostech využití konopí. Práce se zajímá o nevyčerpatelnou tématiku, týkající se konopí v mnoha směrech, která je v dnešní době více než aktuální. Práce se v úvodu zmiňuje o legislativě. Následující kapitoly se týkají historie, charakteristiky konopí jako rostliny, klinické využití rostliny, konopí jako drogy a v neposlední řadě využití konopí v různých sférách, od potravinářství po průmysl stavební, textilní či kosmetický. V praktické části jsou stanoveny čtyři cíle práce. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jaký je názor na konopí, jaká je informovanost o konopí a zjistit jaké zkušenosti mají lidé s konopím a jak ke droze přistupují uživatelé marihuany. Součástí práce je kvantitativní výzkum, který je postaven na metodě dotazování. Dotazník byl sestaven dle výzkumných cílů a předpokladů. Dotazník byl uveřejněn na internetu, aby k němu mělo přístup co nejvíce lidí. Za týden se podařilo oslovit 185 respondentů. Bakalářská práce může posloužit pro obohacení či ucelení dosavadních informací o problematice týkající se konopí. 2013 - Czech The main topic of this thesis was to find out how people view today the issue of euthanasia and what arguments they see for and against its legalization. The theoretical part is focused on the history of suicide and abuse of euthanasia in Nazi Germany, the legislation and attitude of individual states that permit or tolerate the merciful death or assisted suicide and the opinions of some Czech personalities. The empirical part expresses the views of nurses and with the help of a quantitative research, we are trying to find out if they are adequately informed in this field. By using an anonymous questionnaire we learn whether they agree or disagree with the legalization of euthanasia in the Czech Republic and whether their age, department they work in and the frequency of meetings with the dying patient has an effect on their opinion. Hlavním tématem bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, jak se dnes staví lidé k problematice euthanasie a jaké udávají důvody pro či proti její legalizaci. Teoretická část je zaměřena na historii sebevražd a zneužití euthanasie v nacistickém Německu, legislativu a postoj jednotlivých států, které milosrdnou smrt či asistovanou sebevraždu povolují nebo tolerují a na názory některých českých osobností. Empirická část vyjadřuje názory zdravotních sester a díky kvantitativnímu výzkumu zjišťujeme, zda jsou v této oblasti dostatečně informovány. Pomocí anonymního dotazníku se dozvíme, zda by byly pro či proti legalizaci euthanasie v ČR, zda má vliv na jejich názor věk či oddělení na kterém pracují a frekvence setkávání se s umírajícím pacientem. Children's lifestyle in Kid's Centre of Southern Region

2013 - Czech Growing up in a loving family is important for every child. Where the family is for any reason unable to provide the necessary background, the child is placed into substitute care, either in a family setting or an institution. The state prefers surrogate family to institutional care. The beginning of the theoretical part of my thesis focuses on the child?s rights contained in the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Basic Freedoms, the Convention on the Rights of the Child and under Act 359/1999 Sb. on social and legal protection of children. I?ve described types of substitute care ? in a family setting (foster care, temporary foster care, adoption, committing the child into the care of a person other than his parent, guardianship) and in an institution ? and gave an account of the sequelae of childhood institutionalisation. I explained how the CAN syndrome manifests itself and what kind of children fall most frequently victims to abuse. I explained the importance of a family for a child and what does family recovery mean, what are the needs of children, and the ethnic group. The theoretical part concludes with a description of the South Bohemian Child Centre. The Child Centre is situated in the town of Strakonice. It?s a non-governmental health-care facility that can accommodate a maximum of 25 children. The South Bohemian Child Centre was established in 2005. Under Act 359/1999 Sb. on the social and legal protection of children, as amended, the Centre runs a facility accommodating children who require immediate help. The facility is primarily intended for 6-year-olds and younger; upon agreement, an older child may be admitted as well, in particular if he or she is a sibling. The help provided to children by the facility includes healthcare and social, legal, educational and psychological care and counselling. Under Act 108/2006 Sb. on social services, the Centre runs social rehabilitation intended for mothers and family members in need of help to be able to manage caring for their child, and also for future adoptive and foster parents. Parents have 5 dwelling units at their disposal. I divided the research into two parts. The first objective was mapping the life situation of children in the South Bohemian Child Centre between 2009-2011. The second objective was to establish how the social rehabilitation scheme has been utilised since the South Bohemian Child Centre was established. In order to achieve these objectives, a quantitative research had been designed, with secondary and content data analysis. I followed 9 criteria in the first research group: 1. reasons of admission to the CC, 2. age at the time of admission to the CC, 3. age at the time of leaving the CC, 4. the average length of the child?s stay in the facility, 5. ethnic group, 6. their state of health, 7. their mental state, 8.contact with their biological family, 9. reasons of termination of their stay. In the second research group dealing with social rehabilitation where parents stay with their children, I followed 4 criteria: 1. reason of admission into the social rehabilitation scheme, 2. the parent, 3. length of stay in the facility, 4. success. The results of this thesis will serve for the purposes of the South Bohemian Child Centre and be of use to anyone interested in these issues. Pro každé dítě je důležité, aby vyrůstalo v milující rodině. Pokud mu rodina z jakýkoliv důvodů nemůže zajistit potřebné zázemí, je dítě umístěno do náhradní péče - rodinné nebo ústavní. Stát preferuje náhradní rodinnou péči před ústavní. V úvodu své teoretické části jsem se zaměřila na práva dítěte, která jsou obsažena v Listině základních práv a svobod, Úmluvě o právech dítěte a zákoně č. 359/1999 Sb., o sociálně - právní ochraně dětí. Charakterizovala jsem formy náhradní výchovné péče ? rodinnou (pěstounská péče, pěstounská péče na přechodnou dobu, osvojení, svěření do výchovy jiné fyzické osoby než rodiče, poručenství), ústavní péči a popsala jsem, jaké následky může na dítěti zanechat pobyt v ústavním zařízení. Vysvětlila, jak se projevuje syndrom CAN a jaké děti bývají nejvíce týrány. Objasnila jsem důležitost rodiny pro dítě a co znamená sanace rodiny, jaké mají děti potřeby a etnikum. V závěru teoretické části jsem popsala Dětské centrum Jihočeského kraje. Dětské centrum se nachází ve Strakonicích. Jedná se nestátní zdravotnické zařízení s maximální kapacitou 25 dětí. Dětské centrum Jihočeského kraje vzniklo v roce 2005. Zákonem č. 359/1999 Sb., ve znění pozdějších předpisů, o sociálně právní ochraně dětí provozuje zařízení pro děti vyžadující okamžitou pomoc. Zařízení je především určeno pro děti do 6-ti let, po domluvě i věkově starším, zejména sourozencům. Poskytuje pomoc dětem zahrnující péči zdravotní, sociální, právní, výchovnou, psychologickou a poradenskou. Zákonem č. 108/2006 Sb., o sociálních službách provozuje centrum sociální rehabilitaci. Ta je určena pro matky a rodinné příslušníky, kteří potřebují pomoc při zvládání péče o dítě a budoucí osvojitele a pěstouny. Rodiče mají k dispozici 5 bytových buněk. Výzkum jsem rozdělila na dvě části. Prvním cílem bylo zmapovat životní situaci dětí v Dětském centru Jihočeského kraje v letech 2009 - 2011. Druhým cílem bylo zjistit využití programu sociální rehabilitace od vzniku Dětského centra Jihočeského kraje. Za účelem dosažení cílů byl stanoven kvantitativný výzkum, forma sekundární a obsahové analýzy dat. U prvního výzkumného souboru, jsem sledovala 9 kritérií: 1. důvody pro přijetí do DC, 2. věk při příchodu do DC, 3. věk při odchodu z DC, 4. průměrná délka pobytu dětí v zařízení, 5. etnikum, 6. zdravotní stav, 7. psychický stav, 8. kontakt s biologickou rodinou, 9. důvody pro ukončení pobytu. U druhého výzkumného souboru, který se zabýval sociální rehabilitací, kde pobývají rodiče se svými dětmi, jsem sledovala 4 kritéria: 1. důvod pro přijetí do programu sociální rehabilitace, 2. rodič, 3. délka pobytu v zařízení, 4. úspěšnost. Výsledky této práce budou sloužit pro účely Dětského centra Jihočeského kraje a všechny, kteří se o tuto problematiku zajímají. 2015 - Czech The main aim of this thesis is to evaluate the state of environmental, economic and socio-cultural aspects related to the tourist industry in the South Bohemian Region, as well as the analysis of particular aspects of tourism and proposals for their improvement. The aim is to define the ecotourism-tourism that is responsible, directed in to natural areas, environment protection, improving the local people prosperity. Based on that information, the literature review and the questionnaire for the field research are formed. The survey is performed in the cities of the South Bohemian Region. Subsequently, the questionnaires are analysed and processed. With these results we determined the unused resources. Finally, hypotheses are evaluated as well as the proposal of a new tourism product. The product was focused on rebuilding the farm into the agro farm and expansion of offered services. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je zhodnotit stav environmentálních, ekonomických a sociálně kulturních aspektů, týkajících se cestovního ruchu v Jihočeském kraji. Bude realizována analýza jednotlivých aspektů cestovního ruchu a návrh opatření na jejich zlepšení. Cílem je definovat pojem ekoturismus - turistika, která je zodpovědná, směřovaná do přírodních oblastí, přispívá k ochraně životního prostředí, zlepšuje prosperitu místních lidí a má prvek vzdělávací či studijní. Na základě informací z literární rešerše a situační analýzy je vytvořen dotazník pro terénní šetření. Terénní šetření se provádí v městech Jihočeského kraje. Následně, budou dotazníky analyzovány a zpracovány. S těmito výsledky jsme určili nevyužité zdroje. V konečné části bakalářské práce proběhne vyhodnocení hypotéz a návrh nového produktu. Produkt byl zaměřen na přestavbu farmy na agrofarmu a rozšíření nabídky poskytovaných služeb. 2017 - Czech The main topic of this bachelor thesis is to apply the company process management and effectivization on rehearsals of the South Bohemian University Orchestra. With the usage of time frames, my thesis aims to analyse the effectivity of time management during the rehearsals and subsequently to increase it with suggested improvements. The same process is used in the companies when achieving resource optimization. In my thesis I will examine the effect of such analysis on the rehearsals or on teaching. As the words like effectivization or optimization are commonly used especially in the business area these days it may be assumed that these approaches are to be used not only in business area but also in teaching sphere, as my thesis aims to substantiate. Apart from the objectives stated above, my thesis also provides the possible design and selection of the technical equipment which may be used when sounding the orchestra. The thesis also includes a stageplan, i.e. the document consisting of technical requirements for the concert. The stage plan may be used as a basis for external organizers and sound engineers. Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje aplikování řízení a efektivizace procesů ve firmě na zkoušky Jihočeského univerzitního orchestru. Má za cíl, pomocí časových snímků analyzovat efektivitu využití času zkoušek orchestru a díky tomu navrhnout postupy pro její zvýšení. Tohoto postupu se využívá ve firmách pro optimalizaci zdrojů. Práce má za úkol otestovat využití takovéto analýzy při efektivizaci zkoušek či výuky. Jelikož slova efektivizace či optimalizace slyšíme hlavně z business sféry čím dál častěji, lze říci, že mají tyto postupy současné i budoucí využití, a to nejen v business sféře, ale, jak má dokázat tato práce, například i ve školství. Současně se práce bude věnovat návrhu a výběru technického vybavení na ozvučení orchestru. Součástí je i vypracování stageplanu, neboli dokumentu s technickými požadavky na vystoupení, jako podkladu pro externí pořadatele a zvukaře.
