2016 - Czech First volume of new, third series of the project on Documents on Czechoslovak Foreign Policy contains documents from May to December 1945. The documents concentrate mainly the restoration of postwar-Czechoslovakia, Czechoslovak-Soviet relations (mainly cession of Subcarpathian Ruthenia), Czechoslovak-Polish conflict on Teschen, relief of UNRRA and another question. Documents are published including historical and editorial introduction, list of documents, English summaries of documents and name index. První svazek nové, třetí řady projektu Dokumenty československé zahraniční politiky přináší dokumenty od poloviny května do prosince 1945, které dokumentují zejména obnovu poválečného Československa, československo-sovětské vztahy (zejména odstoupení Podkarpatské Rusi), československo-polský konflikt na Těšínsku, pomoc ze strany UNRRA a další otázky. State - country - nation: The loyalty of Moravian Czechs and Germans

2016 - Czech This study traces in parallel the transformation of the collective consciousness and loyalties of the Czech and German populations in Moravia in the 19th century. It focuses on various forms of collective consciousness – provincial patriotism, Austrian state patriotism, Czech and German nationalism. It looks at how they relate to other forms of solidarity or loyalty, such as those based on class, religion, or region and at how their formation was influenced by important events and historical processes, beginning with Enlightenment absolutism, the Napoleonic Wars, the revolutionary years 1848/1849, the evolution of civil society in the 1860s and 1870s, the Austro-Prussian War (1866) and the Franco-Prussian War (1870), and ending with the diversification of political life in the late 19th century. Studie paralelně sleduje proměny kolektivního vědomí českého a německého obyvatelstva na Moravě v 19. století. Zaměřuje se na jednotlivé formy kolektivního vědomí – zemský patriotismus, rakouský státní patriotismus, český a německý nacionalismus, pangermanismus a panslavismus – a jejich vztah k dalším solidaritám či loajalitám, například stavovským, třídním, konfesním či regionálním. Posuzuje, jak jejich genezi ovlivnily významné události nebo historické procesy, počínaje osvícenským absolutismem, přes napoleonské války, revoluční léta 1848/1849, počátky a rozvoj občanské společnosti v 60. a 70. letech, války prusko-rakouskou (1866) a prusko-francouzskou (1870), až po rozrůzňování politického života na sklonku 19. století. 2015 - Czech In the early 19th century two codifications appeared simultaneously in Bohemia: one for the private law an the other one for Czech language. This two systematic codifications contained much stabilisation and modernisation potentional and they met in the translation of ABGB codex into Czech language. Na začátku 19. století se vyskytly v Čechách ve stejné době dvě systematické kodifikace: jedna byla soukromo-právní (Všeobecný občanský zákoník) a druhá byla Dobrovského gramatika. Tyto dvě kodifikace obsahovaly značný modernizační potenciál a obě se promítly právě do českého překladu Všeobecného občanského zákoníku. Petrification of military memory versus piety: Military monuments and mass graves in their historical operation

2015 - Czech The text deals with the reception of military monuments, found on the territory of the Czech Republic, which are related to the war events from 1757 to 1866. The memorials can be understood as specific memory locations, whose so-called second life modifies the historical awareness of the relevant military events. War memorials constitute a relatively wide range: from the purely military, celebratory monuments, which are found mostly on elevated dominant locations of battlefields, to reverential memorials with graves or even mass graves. Tématem příspěvku je recepce válečných pomníků na území České republiky, které odkazují ke konfliktům z let 1757 až 1866. Je na ně nahlíženo nejen jako na kulturně-umělecké solitéry, ale také – nebo spíše zejména – jako na specifická místa paměti, jejichž tzv. druhý život modifikuje historické povědomí o zmiňovaných válečných událostech. Příspěvek si klade za cíl zachytit místo válečných pomníků v prostoru vymezeném na jedné straně čistě válečnými oslavnými památkami a na straně druhé hromadnými hroby s výrazným pietním charakterem. The freedom of movement and choice of residence has been restricted by the thrust. Vykázání jako policejní opatření bylo v Předlitavsku roce 1871 nahrazeno říšským zákonem o postrku. Toto opatření postihlo především chudé občany a jejich rodiny. Tímto zákonem byla omezena ústavou garantovaná svoboda pohybu.
