Management původních a nepůvodních rostlin v památkách zahradního umění.

Cílem metodiky je přiblížit prostředí kulturních památek v zatím málo známých a málo diskutovaných souvislostech, a sice s ohledem na přírodu spontánní, tedy záměrně a soustavně neovlivňovanou, a s ohledem na výskyt nepůvodních druhů rostlin. Dále metodika uvádí postup managementu vybraných skupin invazních druhů. Předmětem metodiky je praktický postup hodnocení stavu a návrh managementu jednotlivých skupin původních a nepůvodních rostlin. Metodika byla psána v kontextu i oborů mimo památkovou péči a biologii. Metodika není zjednodušený metodický návod s předpřipraveným řešením standardních situací. Text raději formulujeme s větším odstupem a ukazujeme samotné problémy, nabízíme způsob, jak o nich uvažovat a vše ilustrujeme konkrétními příklady. V textu ukazujeme lokální řešení pomocí případových studií, a tedy se odkláníme od cesty univerzálně platných metodik psaných s ambicí pokrýt co největší počet lokalit bez rozdílu a bez pátrání po kontextu. The work covers garden monuments in context of spontaneous nature and the occurrence of non-native plant species. We present the management approaches for selected groups of invasive species. The text was written in the context of fields other than monument care and ecology and nature conservatioin. We offer not a simplified methodological guide with a prepared solution of standard situations. We prefer to formulate the text at a greater distance and show the problems themselves, we offer a way to think about them. The approaches are accompanied with examples. Metodická pomůcka k uplatnění autentických dřevin v památkách zahradního umění

Cílem metodiky je usnadnit činnost v následujících oblastech: (a) Stanovení taxonomické autenticity dřevin, tedy autenticity materiální substance dřevinných vegetačních prvků. Uplatnění metodiky má smysl především tehdy, když jak z archivních materiálů, tak z hodnocení do současnosti dochovaných dřevinných vegetačních prvků v dané památce, výsledků zahradní archeologie atd. neexistuje dostatek údajů o historii jejich použití. Údaje v ní obsažené mohou přispět ke stanovení obou aspektů autenticity, které vymezuje Metodika hodnocení dřevin pro potřeby památkové péče (Pejchal a Šimek, 2016, 2018), případně Metodika hodnocení porostů dřevin pro potřeby památkové péče (Borusík aj., 2020). Mohou být využity i při hodnocení autenticity materiální substance dřevinných vegetačních strukturálních prvků koncepčně utvářených, jak ji vymezuje Metodika identifikace hodnot památek zahradního umění (Olšan aj., 2015b). Využít se k tomu dají především informace o době zavedení do kultury v Evropě (mimo území ČR) a na území ČR. Za (b) poté: aplikace poznatků o taxonomické autenticitě dřevin v praxi. Je třeba zohlednit řadu faktorů, které nezřídka působí protikladně. The aims of the publication are to enable activities in the field of determination of the taxonomic authenticity of woody species. We provide an approach suitable to cases when there is not enough data on the history of their use, both from archival materials and from the evaluation of woody vegetation elements preserved in the given monument, the results of garden archaeology, etc. The data covered by the publication contribute to the determination of both aspects of authenticity and for the evaluation of the authenticity of the material substance of woody vegetation structural elements. We also provide information on the time of introduction into culture. Multiphase Flow of Taylor Bubbles in Rectangular Microchannels.

The aim of this work is to broaden our knowledge of the behavior of Taylor bubbles in a coflowing liquid inside flat microchannels with a high aspect ratio. The primary focus is put on the near-wall region, which is difficult to study both experimentally or numerically. The investigated quantities are the thickness of a liquid film separating the bubble from the microchannel wall, wall shear stress induced by the bubble movement, and the shape and velocity of the translating bubble. Solvent Assisted 2D Mesoporous g-C3N4 Modification for Catalytic Application.

Here we show a facile and scalable new approach for the synthesis of ordered CN materials with an excellent photoactivity, which consists\nof supramolecular interfacial preorganization of monomers at the interface of two non-miscible solvents. Molecular dynamic simulations\nsupported by experimental results reveal that appropriate mono-mers and solvents choice lead to the formation of a supramolecular assembly solely at the interface of the solvents. As a proof of concept, we show the chemical and physical properties of the g-C3N4 materials after thermal condensation in various temperature. The advantages of the new method are demonstrated here through the tuneable morphologies and surface area, the formation of new electronic junctions and high activity as a photocatalyst for hydrogen evolution and pollutants degradation of the g-C3N4 materials. ELECTROCHEMICAL STUDY OF CuSCN INORGANIC HOLE-TRANSPORT MATERIAL FOR SOLAR CELLS PREPARED BY ELECTRODEPOSITION FROM AQUEOUS SOLUTION

A comparative study is reported for electrodeposited copper(I) thiocyanate layers (ca. 500 nm) on two types of conductive/semiconductive substrates: i) carbon (boron-doped diamond_BDD, glass-like carbon_GC), and ii) carbon-free F-doped SnO2 conducting glass (FTO). SEM and Raman evidence that electrodeposition from aqueous solution results in homogenous CuSCN layers with dominant thiocyanate ion bounded to copper through its S-end (Cu−SCN bonding), as in spin-coated CuSCN layers. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) confirms the p-type semiconductivity of layers with a flatband potential from 0.1 to 0.18 V vs. Ag/AgCl depending on the substrate type, and the acceptor concentration (NA) of 5 x 1020cm-3 in all cases. The flatband potentials determined from Mott-Schottky plots (EIS) are in good agreement with the Kelvin probe measurements. The blocking quality of CuSCN layers was tested using Ru(NH3)63+/2+ redox probe. CuSCN deposited on BDD substrate exhibits better blocking properties compared to CuSCN deposited on FTO. Mortality of small animals on singletrails in Marianské údolí valley (Brno, Czech Republic)

Singletrail areas became a part of tourist business all over the world. Cycling routes usually go through the natural environment; they are used especially in the summer and therefore are quite evident that small animals are killed on them. The submitted contribution indicates what effects have the traffic on the singletrail on small animals in the deciduous forest environment (Brno, Czech Republic). During singletrail traffic insects and small vertebrates were killed. The number of cadavers of individual species was relatively small on the trails (3800 individuals of insect and 51 of vertebrates one during 3 months on the 11 km of the route) and traffic most probably does not endanger the existence of any animal species at the local population level. Mostly the common species were perished on the trails, but individuals of specially protected and endangered species were also killed there (Calosoma sycophanta, Bombus spp., Anguis fragilis, Bufo bufo) so this fact should not be overlooked and underestimated. For ethical and educational reasons, the construction of new singletrail areas should be preceded by careful research of particular area in order to map the distribution of small animals and choose the route with regard to minimizing mortality, especially endangered species of fauna. Influence of singletrails on wildlife distribution in the tourist attractive area of Mariánské údolí (Brno)

The growing popularity of active movement in nature in the form of an adrenaline experience is the cause of the great expansion of singletrails. New singletrails are still being built with varying degrees of difficulty, and the density is thickening across the entire Czech Republic. This form of leisure time use is closely linked to the forest environment and the animals that occur in it. The cyclist usually moves very quickly along a narrow path through the forest and it is a question of how his disturbance will affect large mammals around the singletrails. For monitoring purposes, we selected four study areas (two with singletrails and two without singletrails) with the presence/absence of hiking paths where we observed the long-term influence of singletrails on the distribution and behaviour of common species of large mammals through animal marks. The results showed that where the roe deer was not disturbed, a balanced proportion of beds (places where the roe deer rested) and marking places (places that the roe deer marked) was recorded. However, in areas with disturbance in the form of tourists, far fewer beds were found than marking places. The presence of singletrails did not play a role in this. Modular Synthesis of Dendritic Amphiphiles.
